I'm NEVER having kids. The world is overpopulated which makes the rate of extinctions and endangerment higher, there's plenty of kids in foster homes to take care of, and I'd rather live a life with a wife than kids. I mean really, if I had a kid, I would contribute to environmental and animal problems and make things worse for our own society indirectly. If I ever would want kids, I'd adopt. But I'll never have biological children through any will of my own.

Fetuses are not children. Children have emotions and can feel pain. Fetuses don't have that. The question of why a fetus matters is the question of "can it feel" or "does it exist as a mind?" and the simple answer is it doesn't. And the coma and sleeping comparisons are irrelevant as comatose people can return to life and have people to live for, and sleeping/comatose persons have existing minds in dormancy. A being is something which exists and is aware. Animals are aware, older humans are aware. Fetuses are not aware of anything including existence or any external experience.
