The steps are just a Giro to Right for lady. Most people already know this, The important thing here is the way they use the 1, 2, 3 rhythm of Vals. Both dance 1 step together, then the man dances 3 steps to the lady's 2, then 1 step to the lady's 2, then 3 steps together. So, during the 1,2,3 rhythm, you can make 1, 2 or 3 steps and the man and lady needn't be the same. That's Vals, but very few can dance it well, IMHO.
