Well Gaga is different than your typical Britney Spears or Hanna Montana. If she did what she is doing now 15 years ago it may have been shocking and not in the amusing funny way people play it off now. As Manson said, "She knows what she is doing." I don't think people realize she is deeper than her pop image. It is more satirical than serious. Manson did so on a much more obvious basis 13 years ago. That is why he chose to work with her probably over other "pop" artists.
