I find about a gram per dose works best.

So if your serving 4 people, put in 4 grams worth bud of cannabutter...

*Cook a quarter into a 1/4lb butter, include just over half the butter in the mashed to serve 4 people, mix up the potatoes good, and devide into 4 equal piles.

Yes it must be real butter.

The reason is because of how fat soluble THC is.

Just like in us, it sticks around and clings to our fat much longer then it is in our blood for example.

So by infusing the butter with the plant, the THC binds with the fat, thus making it an easy vessel for you to injest.

It was pure ground good quality stash.

You can use much higher quantities of leaf and plant matter and have a decent result, however, as with most things in life, the better the starting product, the better the resulting product.

Well I knew I would be baking/using it within days, so I put it in the fridge.

Then it acts just like normal butter essentially.

An hour at room temp and it will be well thawed from a fridge, but only soft from a freezer I guess.

To use it faster this morning when I baked cookies, I use a small bowl in warm water to melt it gently very fast.

Ya, I have done it for 4 hours and it did not turn out good.

I think it is a balance thing...

Cook it to long, and you burn off some of the thc, cook it to short, and not all the thc is absorbed...

I found a few that said 30 was good, so tried it out, I am just starting to come off the butter now 8-9 hours after I took it. So I am happy with the 30-40 I did.
