Spanky excuse me if i dont agree all the way with u. the morals we have set by the government or whatever are rules, instructions, or steps to follow. the bible is a book that says we should not do this or do that. sounds like instructions, rules therefore a different set of morals. i joined my church like 5 or 6 years ago i wanted answers, so im not posting this to try to knock down your belief its just wat i feel i guess and im still learning.

But also, you must understand that we all stand guilty before a holy, just and righteous God. We all have done wrong, no one can deny this. Thus we are all guilty of wrong. Hence, in Genesis 3 when Adam and Even sinned, they died. They could have avoided death.

Because of this, the Bible (which I believe in) says that we will die for our wrongs. But there is a way out of this death. That is by the shed blood and atoning sacrifice of Jesus. Because this is so radical, many will not believe it.

morals are man made... and morals change... for a long time in history... having and owning slaves was part of the accepted morals, then that changed and now it is inmoral... for a long time physical punishment was moral (lashings and the likes) and now they are forbidden explicitly by the different Human Rights conventions...
