CX828? There's only CX838, an afternoon flight to Vancouver on these uncomfy A340s, CX86 which apparently is a new flight at about 11 o'Clock and CX888 which is also at midnight. It is on a 777-300 and takes less time to arrive than CX838. 888 also operates with the new economy class and terminates at New York. 828 should still be operating.

To avoid a boring flight, take CX 888 and CX889 to and from vancouver. They use the 777-300ER. You would have to be really lucky in order to get the new long haul product since the chances of going on one are 4/15.
Well, I flew in the new cabin 3 times so far. Twice in a 747-400 to and from rome and once in the 777-300ER on CX888. the 777 was much better. Better map.

Thats right , i was on CX888 and 839 last month.
The A340-300 on CX 839, are terribly boring.
The entertaiment are like the old regional ones.

I took CX888 HKG-YVR
CX 839 YVR-HKG last month
I prefer the old seats as they are soft and comfortable , not like the new ones hard and stiff.
The new cabin has awesome entertaiment , the old ones are not that great

The other five will leave CX in 2011. I prefer the new ones, theres more leg space, but it sucks that the seats aren't reclinable

The upright position is much better than recline , since the recline is like 5/10 degree ?

I heard that the new map on the 747-400 isnt the same as those on the 777-300ER.

Do you know there is another kind of cabin which are available on the 777-300 , which is the Regional Enhanced Economy.
The seats actually reclines and slides.

This is Chep Lak Kok, the new HKG. Kai Tak has been closed since 1997.

Yeah, I remember it being closed in 1998. Now it's being converted into a hotel.
