Jiddu is 20 years his senior. They both were involved with Theosophy. Jiddu disbanded his order of the Eastern Star and maintained a 'no-path' teaching. UG was critical of this since Jiddu still had an organizational structure around him. UG does seem indifferent, but he doesnt trap you in semantic circles like JK does.

No, all that he is saying is that all the IDEAS of something like "beauty", "love", "happiness", or anything else in part of a value system is a psychological diversion from reality. All value is psychological. The value system is the fuel for the mind to continue searching for understanding in it's experiential concepts (memory). Choosing not to value anything allows the mind to discontinue it's "seeking" and be occupied by the present function of life as it happens.

Yes, it is shatteringly grounding. It is the beginning of your awakening. Everything you do in time (judging mostly), everywhere you see any separation or you compare yourself, you are only in a quantum loop gravity impulse and that has no meaning. You act like a robot. Confuse pain with joy etc. But that is not your reality. All I am saying is: there is something beyond that little identity you look upon as you. Awakening is the most fun you'll ever experience.
