Do you ever have any trouble with your sled heating up? I have an 08 600 RS that overheats every once in a while. Great sled otherwise!

@travismoore17 Depends on the sled your riding with. I ride with a guy with a 600 etec. I burnt about 7 gal of fuel and he burnt about 1. I get 6.5 MPG on average. Gives me a 65mile range. Also if your still wanting to ride after 50 miles. Dont buy this sled.

do you have to pre mix the gas for the 600 rs like the old 440s if so how good is it on gas

hey i got a serious question? and no i will not be a dick about it but.. did your parents pay for you sled or did you? im trying to save up for a rev 440 and i have like $1300, hard to make this much cash with no job!

@Trxman300 I have payed for everything I own. When I turned 12 my rents bought my a 93 scandic 377. When I was 18 I had enough saved for my last sled. (04 mxzx 440/600). Once you have your first sled its not hard to get another one. Sell yours and put another few thousand into a new one. I also payed for my camera gear. I have about $2500 into cameras. Wide angle lenses and mics arnt cheap.

@bzhfbz yea i have payed for everything i own. whe i was 12 i got a brand new 2004 left over honda 300ex. sold that for like $1450 in august. i have a 1990 polaris indy 500 that i have put 12.6 miles on this year and i have had it shut down on my 3 times and the motor blew. crank and all. might sell for $500 or just part it out. i have been trying to buy a rev 440 for some time now and im slowly getting closer. never mind i just spent $600 on my new laptop and ipod.. when your 15, money is hard.

@bzhfbz yea. i just applied for 2 jobs.. i forgot to mention i just put $200 into my bmx bike. im not the indoors kid, love riding with a passion. i think im selling my bike for $250 soon tho. i have been trying to get a 440 since like 2 years ago. while my best friend(rich) got his sleds handed to him. they got three revs. he ahs an 03 rev 800, his little borther has a mintttt 04 rev 500ss, and his dad has an 03 rev 800 too. this is their second year on sleds and the have revs? like really?

@Trxman300 Dont worry about your friend. There is nothing like working hard for a few summers and getting a sled. You will love that thing to death. I was into down hill mountain biking. Never liked BMX.

@crfC93 the E module... the front suspenion suport... and the front heat exchanger needs replacing.. the back heat exchanger has a cracked weld that needs welding... and some other odds and ends...

kit comes complete with cylinders, heads, domes, pistons, Y pipe, D&D powerlite Single Pipe, power valve block off, and boondocker and then i orderd the clutch kit too. it says it will be 130hp thats a shitload better then 85. my 05 iq 440 had 100+hp

@Vicsam7 yeah i never used the sticky ones... i also use some clear hockyy tape for some extra insurance..... for the helmet mount i use it right on the suction cup mounts arm.... i find the extra adaptors slip to easy... cant ever get them tight enough

@Vicsam7 I like to use Adobe Premiere Pro CS3... its really easy to use.... but first i have to convert the GoPro files... it costs about $100 for a converter so I just use Sony Vagas Pro 9.0.... Sony vagay is a pain to use so thats why i dont just edit in it.

@yamaharules163 yeah im gettin stoked... one thing about the gopro... if your goin to make movies.... dont let the footage pile up... after every day ridin sort through it.... toss the junky stuff or just take the good 20sec clip out and toss the rest... and every 5 or so min ridin just stop the footage and restart it... makes goin though it easier later... just my 2cents
