I think there is certain controversy about wheather you should shoot with thumb-index-middle or thumb-index-ring. I believe it´s all about your hand´s size: if its big enough, index-middle will be spread enough, but if you have small hands I think it´s better to push a little bit forward index and ring to make the final release more stable.

Your feet are not allowed to leave the ground during a free throw or cross the free throw line. Hope this helps :)

The best tip i every got was aline the ball with your shoulder before you shoot.. that way your arm has no tension if your sqaured up.. Kobe does it and alot of european players do.. Dirk, Kapono etc
