what i liked about OFP is that it focused on GAMEPLAY. itsd main focus wasnt graphics like most games are today. This was state of the art when the game was made.  and side note if you dont like it dont play it, leave you comments to yourself and dont ruin it for others.

wow it's beyond my understanding how anyone ever enjoyed Operation Flashpoint, the enitre map looks like BF1942(massive green landscape with 1 or 2 trees every several 300ft), the graphics suck, all that's left are the realistic ballistics, mission editor, and vehicles, which i guess would be enoguh but comeon, without good terrain it's like almost nothing

1st off, nobody has EVER flown a plane or helicopter for over 150 sq km in BF1942.

2ndly, It was the 1st time its EVER Been done.

3rdly, You say it sucks except for the mission editor, ballistics, vehicles. Guess what?

ok just to clear up a few things, first off i was never insulting the game and didnt really know if it was the first one or not, i said the terrain STYLE(not the entire map) looks like bf1942, and i never said the game sucks, i said the graphics did and no i'm not in a time warp, i was just never aware of this game's existence until i found out about Dragon Rising
