The computer: MAP MAS etc., compensates for much. I did not put in a fuel processor. I've done 25,000 miles as it is with no problems or performance issues. No bluing of the chrome pipes.
I just don't see the value in the fuel processor. I have well over 25,000km (18,000 miles) on it with the Cobra pipes, with no bluing of the pipes - been coast o coast. The pipes are really nice - not too loud but mellow. I installed both factory baffles. There is so much stuff on Ebay for the C90 - most at a good price.
Thanks! Will have more vid's in September from a trip to Colorado and surrounds.
Nice Vids dude, I am planning on dressing my c90 slow and considered not get the FI control just yet. I do however want to be heard just a little better. Thanks for the info.
@DarknessDeepest That is a "RAM" camera mount. I use it to shoot videos of my rides in interesting places. Several of the vid's are posted on Youtube on my account.
@DrMucker The trunk is distributed by Mutazu. They offer trunks and bags on ebay as well as their own site and ship from California. It came already painted in gloss black. It is made of ABS plastic and is relatively strong. Usual price is about $115.00. I reinforced the bottom with a 1/8" aluminium plate to increase its rigidity . The plate also provided a place to mount an extra police style LED running/brake light from Whelen. It keeps stuff dry on long rainy trips.
Installation was very easy. The most difficult part is the removal of the stock system because it's so heavy. Don't try and remove the stocks as a fixed unit but separate the parts and remove piece by piece. No power commander and no K&N filter was installed. I was not after every bit of HP possible. 90 cubic inches makes for a fast bike no matter what exhaust system is installed. Yes, the sound is excellent! They look great, too with the long flowing straight lower pipe.
One more thing........I just spent a week in the Virginias (Rte VA 56 and others) where some aggressive cornering was encountered. The Cobra Longs tend to scrape at the same time the floor boards do, so take it easy.
If you want to hear just how deep the rumble is from the Cobra pipes here, run the sound through a stereo with decent bass response. I shot the video with a little Kodak digital camera but the bass response is really great.
Another secret to getting better sound with Cobra pipes is to drop the idle speed by a few hundred RPM.

I have an 05 C90 with the same pipes, nice sound.
Do yourself a favor and get the "GMan Industries" Bully" for your C90, yes you get more power but your bike will run better too. Good luck.
