thanx so much for creating this vid! I was havng some serious withdrawals from TD:MD and i miss Ianto

I really miss Ianto and I think they made a mistake killing him off. However, at the same time this is Torchwood, no one lives to be very old in Torchwood,except for Jack. If Ianto hadn't died, Torchwood would have still killed him eventually. As much as I don't really want to believe that I know it to be true. Without Ianto Miracle Day was just meaningless, except that it showed what its like for Jack to suddenly be mortal again. And that Jack hasn't moved on from Ianto yet, not really.

@drewsarichfangirl Yeah, I don't think they'd bring him back - which is a huge oversight on their part. RTD and co severely underestimated how popular he was. But MD was *painful* without him. And pretty horrible anyway, except for a few scenes (the Ianto mentions & Jack & Gwen's fight in the car. Glad it showed their priorities were not each other, bc I love Gwen with her lovely family). Torchwood isn't Torchwood & Jack isn't Jack without our teaboy.

Have to said they did make another interesting story with Jack & Angelo , It was FUBARD but enterteining all the same, but then that's me, I love drama and kind of dark things sometimes , Jack and Ianto would stay like a very romantic couple forever in our minds , who knows if things would have being the same if Ianto wouldn't have died , knowing Jack character is hard to know.

@drewsarichfangirl I wasn't a huge fan of Angelo. He was pre-Ianto, so it had nothing to do with that, but I didn't feel that much of a connection between he & Jack. Don't think he was The One, personally. To be honest, I do think things would have continued to develop beautifully with them, had he not died. House of the Dead made that abundantly clear - and broke my heart. Jack said - "You have no idea what it felt like coming back to life and knowing the world was empty because you’d gone." ;(

Yes I don't think Angelo or Ianto are the one for Cp. Jack ,he loved both for shure but probably was Gwen is the closest to the one , if there's someone he really love was her , but who knows , hopefully in the future he fall inlove again, (Ofcourse he will , he's Cp.Jack after all*eheh*)

@drewsarichfangirl I disagree! Both John & Eve have said Gwen & Jack don’t have THAT kind of relationship. I never felt like they were in love w/each other. After MD it’s obvious that they are best friends but no more. It proves that you can love someone without being IN love. Gwen’s priority is Rhys & Anwen & Jack is broken over losing Ianto. I think Ianto was unquestionably the One for Jack when you consider all canon (tv show, books, radio plays). That makes it even more tragic that he died.

@drewsarichfangirl Plus I was really glad that they dropped the Gwen/Jack flirting that from season 1 - it felt very forced, where his relationship with Ianto just drew me completely in. Eve said herself that she didn't think Gwen and Jack should ever get together, and John said something like "He's attracted to Gwen, but with Ianto it's something much, much deeper." :)

It's absolutely brilliant watching Ianto and Jack's evolution over the course of Real Torchwood, series 1-3. Ianto was arguably the love of Jack's long life (taking ALL canon into consideration - the television show, the radio plays, and the novels. And if you haven't watched, listened, or read all those, I highly recommend it. Especially listen to House of the Dead. Oh my god, listen now.)

And now I'm crying. I miss their relationship so much. It would be brilliant if they could just bring Ianto back - it's sci-fi, after all. It's not Torchwood without him and Jack is just so broken.

I know , I miss him too but I think is better not to get our hopes up on that , specially after watching the 4th season, I totally doubt Ianto is going to come back .
