ive got a brookstone one that looks a little bit bigger then this, maybe the same, and its what im learning on while im building my big aluminum one lol. its pretty fun and they sure are durable.
@bassettrd from the experience with mine, yes they are pretty easy, and you can usually crash em up pretty good and they wont break. very great way to learn, and very fun.
I have one of these it is fuckin fun to fly as soon as I master this I am buying a bigger one this is my new hobby in fact I am going to play with it right now
Sweet micro-heli you got there! The CF body really sets it off. Very cool for when the snow flies and we're forced indoors. The perfect cure for "cabin fever". - R
i used to buy those from the hobby shop,, after the third one broke i ddnt get anymore tho,, good fun for cheap but it kinda suks its so light you can only fly it inside
I respect what you say... But sounds like a duck... built like a duck.. must be a ... heli.. lol
and besides... it is a toy! a very cool, digital, 1 oz, easy to use, any one can enjoy.... fun piece of mechanical engineering :-) Absolutely brilliant . I love it... & its a blast to fly
Helicopter: An aircraft that derives its lift from blades that rotate about an approximately vertical central axis.
I'm not sure if you can trust the dictionary, but I do agree with it. So it seems to me to be a helicopter. You have your belief thought... I have mine.
Awesome canopy on the heli and nice flying. I have this heli with the glow in the dark parts installed. It is a very easy heli to fly. I just wish it was a little faster. 5*s for the video.
thats awesome bro.. i would love the glow in the dark parts! I hear they have a faster one available now.. ill see if i can get my hands on one to show us here on youtube....
Looking good mate,i still fly mine but i have to ask have you tried the MSR?? now that baby is a pocket rocket in anyones book man but it's a bit to fast for me to fly forwards indoors to much but i too it out the other day when we had no winds and it was fast as hell for what it is lol, geat video = 5*
i have a cx2 and a mcx they are good starter helis .... lots of hours of fun ... batterys for the mcx s are junk ... after like 6 mo. they are garbage ... but other than that great helis
but 6 months for such a small lipo battery (the size of a stick of trident gum) is a reallllly long time for it to last... and they arent expensive... thats pretty good fellas
the batteries are just tiny little bricks... @ 3:40 in this video i show the battery in the charger... see how small it is? and yup.. they sell them separately Super cheap.
I had to replace the brick in it and I think I might have adjusted the servo controls wrong. All other directions work fine. I have to do a kind of turning and forward motion to get it to go where I want to get back to me.
I've had one since last Christmas. Fun little copter. Very rugged. Kind of tough to get it going forward. All other directions are good. I like it a lot for just messing with while watching tv.
do you have control over forward movement? it looks like you just control the speed of the blades to rise and rotate, but don't get to decide if it actually goes forward.
They are awesome little choppers. I've worn out a set of motors in mine because it's just too fun to stop flying it. Looking at getting an mSR next. Thanks for the vid Medic!
Looks like you put some time and effort into this. Great vid.

much better battery system much better handling than the falcon rc choppers but not as tough though i haven't seen the carbon fiber shell yet

Are they really that easy to fly? I have had next to no experience with RC helis but these look like a great way to learn!

I'm sorry, but the whole point FOR ME in R/C is realistic but small=affordable...
By MY specifications the R/C heli's look unrealistic & dumb.
2 rotors? common...

If it looked like a realistic helo then I would fly it!
the key word is realism(I like realism)
madjimms 2 years ago
Are you saying the helicopter is not real?
oros123456 2 years ago
Wheres the pilot?
Do you see news choppers being piloted by R/C ?
madjimms 2 years ago
Oh! Then you mean something else. No it's not an actual helicopter, but it is a cool one.
