De la hoya was never a power puncher or exiting fighter. He was only fast and he faught fighters that were past their prime,example chavez had 100 plus fights when they faught. Vargas should have retired after a brutal fight against Trinidad. And he had two chances to beat Mosley and coudlnt. I find it very funny when they say De la hoya was the "BEST" fighter they ever seen.Couldnt even win a round against Pacquio,and Erik Moreles beat him clearly the first time around.

@louheff Im glad to see theres still true boxing fans that know about boxing.I need to refresh on fighters records man because i didnt know Duran had a great record of 73 and 1 when he faught Ray. I stop watching for a while because the same names in boxing were not offering good fights and not even fighting with heart. Theres a couple of fighters that still put on good fights but its not the same....

AND then fucker won't allow pac to fight at official weight bcuz he knows pac would have a HARD time. marquez is naturally bigger and was able to box and bully him. so picks fighters coming off of losses and then weight drains them to get an advantage so what does that say about pac and roach? could easily call them pussies. but i won't bcuz they are fighters and their HANDLERS pick their fights (most of the time) at least floyd fought at official weights and guys coming off of wins. peace

Yea, in the beginning of his career. Manny's better now. Manny and Hatton was 2 some rounds to my recollection. With Mayweather, it was like 10. Do the math. Manny fought Cotto. Mayweather avoided him.
