Q: "Lauri Ylönen from The Rasmus is our quest today. Your new albums just came out, what's your favourite song from the album?"

L: "Justify."

Q: "How about your all-time favourite from The Rasmus."

L: "Well... This is a hard one. Maybe I'd say Immortal 'cause it's the best song to play live... We've made a 8-minute-version and... it's good. It's got a lot of fun stuff in it."

Q: "Okay. Do you listen music at your free time?"

L: "I do listen to some instrumental music 'cause then I don't focus to the lyrics and stuff... So if I want to relaxe and listen to music I usually listen to some instrumental... a soundtrack or something... the soundtrack of Twinpeaks is one of my favourites for example. Yea.. And then the band has some classics we always listen to when we go on tour."

Q: "Okay. Wasn't your world tour like.. alchohol free or something?"

L: "Yea it was."

Q: "Really?"

L: "No it wasn't."

Q: "No really. I red somewhere that it was supposed to be."

R: "Well, yea. We've had some... periods when we haven't drank at all and we've done some hell of good shows but.. it's just hard to say 'no' to everything and it's so nice when people arrange afterparties and all for you.. It's just a part of touring."

Q: "How about... when you have a lot of shows and interviews and before the show you just feel like you can't pull through anymore? Or do you ever feel like that?"

L: "Well, mm.. yea, sometimes before the show i'm just all dead and.. grey and.. well, I just switch myself on and there we go.."

Q: "Is it always that easy?"

L: "Yea. You just have to try to get that kind of.. exitement to it so.. and you don't, or I don't, have to even pretend it or anything because.. I do get exited about a concert no matter what. Adrenaline is just like a drug. It keeps you going."

Q: "Have you done something else to get money after you founded the Rasmus?"

L: "Well, actually I haven't.. Or I've helped some other bands in the studio and stuff but that all has something to do with music. And I've made some music for a movie called "Blackout".. It was kind of easy. I just went and sat in front of a piano and tested something."

Q: "What do you do besides the music?"

L: "I actually bought a boat and I've been using it.. It's really nice to sleep in there over the night and.. yea. I like it."

L: "I just pick up my friends from somewhere and go to an island or somewhere to barbeque and stuff. It's just great."

Q: "Do you do sports? Skating?"

L: "Well actually I haven't skated at all for a long time.. but I'm going to meet my old friend some day and we're going to try.. and then our shows will be canceled 'cause I'll break all the possible bones. But it's been a good hobby 'cause you can do it anywhere."

Q: "You've accomplished a lot. Is there still things you dream about?"

L: "Of course.. There's a lot of places we haven't been to and... of course I dream about this lasting for ever. I'd like to this for the next 15 years with the same band at least and.. well, that already is a lot to ask."

Q: "How about breaking the states?"

L: "Yea, that would be nice.. We've already sold some records there.. and we haven't been to Australia."

Q: "Okay. Great. Thanks for the interview"

L: "Thank you."

Are the speaking Finnish or Estonian? Because to me it sounds awfully like Estonian. I am Estonian by blood but never learned the language, but hear it all the time. So am able to recognize some words. And I am sure there is at least a few Estonian words in this... someone help me.
