  • Wordless Chorus...then saw them first time every at Mountain Jam this year...I feel like I have been in a time warp and missed out on something really great in its infancy to maturity...one thing is for sure...I am hooked! and will definitely add MMJ to the list of 'bands willing to travel to see live' along with Government Mule, WP, Michael Franti, and Los Lobos. Thanks for asking! It is an interesting comment thread!

  • Mierda ¡0:00tra vez!

  • That scream gets me every time!

  • This song sends shivers up my spine and makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck.

  • Hard to believe that Rebecca black has 10 billion more views than this video.

  • @EliteBeave Wordless Chorus

  • i ment top hundred comes in at 99

  • run thru.. voted in the top ten guitar songs of all time by rolling stone

  • The FIRST one, the SECOND one, and so on. Lay Low really grabbed me early though. This band really demonstrates that there are 2 kinds of tastes in music out there- good taste or no taste at all. I really cannot and care not to understand why someone would'nt appreciate how great these guys sound.

  • I got into MMJ after seeing them at Bonnaroo 2004. Been a fan ever since then. I got the Okonokos DVD and watch it atleast 2 times a month. This band is going to be around a long time i feel like.

  • First thing I heard was One Big Holiday from an Arcade Fire link. I am completely blown away by this band. This song is amazing.

  • JIM JAMES IS THE FREAKIN MAN!!!!!!!!!

  • watched this dvd yesterday

  • Me too! This is the song that got me into MMJ.

  • this is SOOOO MUCH BETTER than muse

  • patrick is the man

  • They just rocked that so freaking hard. I'll see them in NOLA on 10/31.

  • do these guys jam during their live shows? How do their shows compare to say a Phish show or another jam band's show?

  • goosebumps

  • goosebumps

  • the loss of her will be felt the rest of my life

  • general question, throwing it out there? which MMJ song got you into them? i heard the album version of lay low and it was instant for me.

  • @EliteBeave The one that really hooked me was Steam Engine

  • @EliteBeave lay low or steam engine

  • @maiconfire

    Dontante and off the record.

  • @EliteBeave the solo in dondante really caught my attention =)

  • @EliteBeave one big holiday, golden, anytime

  • @EliteBeave mine was Gideon, it's just an amazing song

  • @EliteBeave this song

  • @EliteBeave Move on Up @ Madison Square Garden, New Years eve. never really got into them, heard a few songs, decided to see them live, BAM, one song in, mind blown. No looking back.

  • @FCMahgeetah i was there too. amazing.

  • @EliteBeave dodante for me

  • @EliteBeave first found out about them when they came to pemberton festival in 2008. when i first looked them up on youtube i listened to off the record as it was the first song to come up at the time. initially i didnt like them. i then watched the one big holiday performance on conan obrian and was sold. they are now in my top 5 favourite bands.

  • @EliteBeave saw them open for Pearl Jam in 2006. i'd never heard of them at the time and based on their name, thought they might suck. Eddie Vedder came out on stage and told the crowd that this was one of his favorite bands and that we should be excited to see them play. so i was already sold because Eddie is God and i'll do whatever he tells me to do. they played One Big Holiday and i was hooked. i just saw them a couple weeks ago as the headliner and lost my mind when they played this.

  • @nickademous where'd you see them? i saw them in the same tour i think.. in philly

  • @EliteBeave yeah dude. river stage at penn's landing.

  • that was the recent show. '06 was at the tweeter in camden.

  • @nickademous awesome show. wish the whole of dr. dog were there to open

  • @EliteBeave

    this song and Dondante

  • @EliteBeave

I'm seeing them do Z tonight at Terminal 5. I'm pumped!

  • @ianat841 yo i was at that show. so sick. evil urges too

  • @ianat841 we were the glowstick-throwers for gideon on friday night

  • @EliteBeave steam engine or master plan

  • @EliteBeave Touch Me I'm Going to Scream Part 2 - Black Cab Sessions

  • @MrMcWigglesX nice one.

  • @EliteBeave Mine would have to be "It beats for you" Or "I will sing you love songs"

  • @EliteBeave the first 3 notes of off the record

  • @EliteBeave the first 3 notes of off the record or wordless chorus

  • @EliteBeave One Big Holiday did it for me, bro.

  • @EliteBeave MAHGEETAH

  • @EliteBeave Touch Me I'm Going to Scream (Pt. 2) got me interested, but Wordless Chorus solidified it.

  • @EliteBeave librarian

  • @EliteBeave 'I will sing you songs', about four years ago. I was sold. Seeing them in August, cant wait

  • @weezadam oh yeah? sweet, where you seein em? i'm seeing them at red rocks on 8/4 and merriweather 8/12

  • @EliteBeave also seeing them at Merriweather! i hear the venue is pretty cool. hope it isnt deathly hot out though

  • @weezadam i saw them there last year and it was so sick. i don't know if you bought pavilion tickets, but i heavily recommend it over lawn -- not because merriweather is bad on the lawn, it's not.. it's great anyway. just sayin in case it rains. plus it's hard to see mmj and not want to get closer.

  • @EliteBeave At Dawn, but this is my favorite now...

  • @EliteBeave That's easy. "One Big Holiday". I heard it on a CD sampler back in '04. That same day I went to a local record store and listened to "It Still Moves". I was instantly sold and bought it immediately...it was something like $25 at the time too (lol). Yeah...it was that good. I probably would have paid $30.

  • @EliteBeave What A Wonderful Man (Okonokos)

  • @EliteBeave,

Um, all of them? Yes, that's right, all of their songs. Thanks for asking.

  • @EliteBeave I will sing you songs

  • @EliteBeave

    Death is the Easy Way

  • this song sets my soul free

  • This is the song that got me into MMJ.

  • Absolutely cannot wait to see them on 4/20 at the Alabama theatre!!!!!!!

  • one complaint about this song... it is too short :(... :p

  • Absolutely agree. Imagine if this just went on for 7 or 8 minutes jamming. Wow...

  • I agree, their best song, another great take on this one was on Austin City Limits, they went OFF!

  • Genial

  • Some retarded person did not give this 5 stars.

  • @rideincircles
