This album is probably my favorite, even among other Sunn and Boris works. The atmosphere here is just incredible. You can pretty much feel how you're walking through the foggy woods in the darkness, wondering, where its going to take you.

i love the feel of drone, however i do find myself thinking how hard could it be to recreate this sound? i know it isnt about how its done as opposed to why, but i always end up putting my faith in the composers that they really do mean something behind this dissonant scramble which makes it so dark. anyone thought drone bands may be bullshitting their ultra dark psyche?
