  • CLASSIC!

  • is that the drum set lars ulrich used on saint anger?

  • As proof of lars ulrich's commitment to nwobhm, the drum kit from this video is the one he used on st. anger.

  • @thejigsawmurdersyou I don't respond to comments that much, but what you wrote is fucking funny

  • !!!!!!!!!!

  • What kinda guitar does the guitarist have? I take it this video's not an early NWOBHM song, he's got a Floyd Rose and they never came out 'til 85 when NWOBHM was giving way to heavier stuff and glamrock(sadly), which could explain why these guys never made it, but...oh well. Absolutely killer track!

  • The video is hilarious, so low budget, song is ok

  • Metal yes, but please - no scrap!

  • 80s metal ahhhhhhhhh......... beautifull

  • That´s what I call METAL !!!

  • One of my favourite bands!

  • Ive Just realised why I got into Heavy Metal, because of class like this

  • I understand it's by a British band, but I'm still going to petition Obama to make this my country's new National Anthem.

  • Bet that bird was fucked having to hit that car for the whole song, very naff video and basic song

  • AVENGER 4 EVER!!!!

    NWOBHM LIVES ON!!!!

  • Ian really looks like James Hetfield in the early '80's.

  • @GrooveStreet70 lol thats exactly wat i thought wen i saw him the first time !

  • the best nwobhm groupies !!!!!!! xaxaxax

  • Good Old NWOBHM!!

    I Like :D

  • NWOBHM videos are mistical! :-)

  • I first heard this song on a Metal Blade compilation tape from back in the day. The guitar riff in this song reminds me of "Queens of the Reich" by you know who.

  • good old Metal!

  • lol funny video XD i love the 80's

  • I've got the origianl 7" around somewhere

  • CATERVA!

  • LOOK OUT

This is just one of the reasons I love Heavy Metal,AVENGER kills, amazing song.

One of the best NWOBHM bands.

  • @kaosmonger73

    I totally agree.

  • this is my favorite metal song from 1985

  • sod off mate

  • That insult brought me....UNDER THE HAMMAAAAAAA!!!!! lol

  • G R E A T!

    Pure NWOBHM sound!

  • Deffinatly!! Got this record at home and it's fukin immense :p

  • Only I can say that this video is brilliant.

    TRUE 80'S HEAVY METAL!!

  • Great Song!

  • would not surprise me if metallica did rip Avenger off, seeing they ripped off other bands, such as Raven, Diamond Head, and Quartz. But if 15 years later a fan of theirs wanted to download an album of theirs, well lars the bitch he is will take you to court.

  • what type of jacson guitar he have

  • Ian Switft Rocks!

  • this is one of my five favorite nwobhm bands

  • pure metal

  • good song but very weak audio production

  • The raw production is one of the things that gives N.W.O.B.H.M it's signature sound.

  • @themetalicarus

also it sounds great on vynil when you put it to the max

  • @themetalicarus just listen to judas priest's angel of retribution for example,I'm not saying they're playing NWOBHM or anything but the riffs there sound much heavier with clean production

  • @themetalicarus fuck yeah. I love cassette players.

  • @themetalicarus And, moreover, I like the raw audio production way better than the new "Let's blast this music right at your head like a block of concrete"-kind of production! That sounds just horrible!

  • @themetalicarus and its one of the reasons i love it so much

  • @themetalicarus I love it. Meat & potatoes, in your face!

  • @damnrockergr wtf? what do you want? over compressed shitty production? i dont get you

  • NWOBHM , so naive and raw, love it!

  • avenger rules!

  • exellent

  • Bloody good to see! Thanks to YOUTUBE we can have long lost stuff like this!

  • singer looks like a very young james hetfield

  • moo

  • Very nice, reminds me of You Can't Stop Rock and Roll by Twisted Sister! Nice to see Gary has better drums now rofl!
