This is great! I've been contemplating getting a basset hound (I love their look and find them adorable; I've also never owned a dog.)
And the videos on Youtube depict them in all sorts of moods, but it's good to see that some really don't make a fuss about being in the water. Seen a few videos like this one.
Is this generally their temperament about the water?
@ZiggyStardust35 My bassets first bath she acted like she was DIEING!!! lol but now she stands there with no problem and she is almost 3 They are Great dogs when brought up right mine was potty trained within almost a week from getting her she went into her kennel with no questions asked but it was a kennel for like HUGE dogs and it was like a Bedroom for her so she loved it
Bassets are just the BEST DOGS ever! I have two mischievous sisters aged 8 months and have had Bassets all my life! I've rescued quite a few and can't understand how anyone can part with a Basset... I wouldn't swap mine for the world!

my basset hates (real) baths like this. I think we only gave him 1 in 4-5 years.
