word "heaven" is also mentioned in Quran 67:3, 64:4. It clearly means sky. Word "samawaat" is used.

The earth at aphelion (its farther orbital point from the sun) is at aphelion 152,097,701 km. At Perihelion (the closest orbital point to the sun) it's at 147,098,074 km. That's a deviation of around 5 million kilometers. Oh, and in case you were wondering, the closest period is during winter and the farthest is during summer. A distance of 5 million km doesn't make a significant difference in the light we receive in the sun. This video is garbage.

I also pointed out that this doesn't significantly impact the energy we receive from the sun (with our closest approach actually being winter in the northern hemisphere). Now, the maker of this video clearly states in the video description "a deviation of 3 millimeters would cause catastrophic disasters". How is this not utterly ridiculous to you?

@farzanatasneem, once again, it's not the distance from the sun that determines the seasons. It's the inclination of the earth's axis as it rotates. Hence, as I've said twice now, summer in the northern hemisphere is actually during the period where the earth is farthest from the sun. In addition, the axial tilt of the earth itself also wobbles back and forth. There's no perfect "prescribed path" that the earth follows, rather, the orbit of the earth undergoes constant minor shifts.

Why is the earth an egg shape? Its an oblate spheroid not an oval. A couple of millimeters is not going to change the enviroment drastically. I mean the planet already goes through something akin to that. And those verses really don't tell you much.
