This looks... different. I am still a fan of the older NFS games (Numbers 2-4 mostly). I played Carbon through once, the police chases were really fun but the rest of the game was crap in my opinion. I heard that this game was pretty similar to that one? Is that true? If so, meh.

This game sucks real bad. I have it on the PS3 and Gran Turismo 5 Prologue leaves dust to it. This game is so bad, that when you are in a race suddenly you see a sea in front of you, and then, oops! Road again. BAD.

More like the crappest nfs game TheBadBlueBoys. You should play all the nfs games before underground they were the best and are true classics. The only good nfs game that was made after underground was nfs most wanted. ive been playing nfs ever since nfs 2 was released and i gotta say the games before shitty nfs underground were the true nfs games.

I agree, the original NFS's were about racing; pick your car and track and race. I guess they tried to add more of a story line, but I think they ought to re-do some of the original games with updates graphics for the newer systems.

If you enjoyed it, thats cool, but I read the reviews, and it sounded like there were issues with not being able to free roam the open world. The rides look sick though. It looks almost like where NFS most wanted leaft off. I Started Carbon, but those boss races got the best of me lol I got pretty good at drift though. Canyon drift is much more fun than course drift. I still preferr Most Wanted above all. Pro Street was a pain. I think.

underground 2 (i think) had a hummer amoung the cars u could purchase, MW had a police SUV u could drive in single race, and undercover has police SUV's that persue u. all im saying is that in a way, u made us predict u would get a game on the market something like "NFS off road or 4x4" that would be something completely diferent!

hey, NFS shift is comming up. same old boring NFS come to think of it. the first NFS's were nice, hot persuit, underground 2 and most wanted especialy. now we have pro street that has a interesting gameplay but same old tunning stuf and jiberish, and undercover. a mixed "something" between undercover and the menu of prostreet and a poor gameplay.

I don't see why this game gets so much negative feedback, I just got it and I love it. I don't play it all the time, but its a fun game when you have nothing else to do and feel like going fast! Graphics on PC are a bit messed up, laggy even on good systems. I am going to write a review on it soon.

i have this game for the wii i give it 8.9 the gameplay it brill the grphics are stanard but the thing i dont lyk is if a drive at 50mmph past a cop they chase me :( it is a very short game as i have already done 37%

The only complaint i have about this game is that the cops are way too unrealistic. For instance, i was in a chase with a Bugatti VEYRON, one of the fastest production cars ever made, and yet, a piece of crap police jeep can outrun it at 400kmh without breaking a sweat. Also, along the Gold Coast Highway in-game, There are more cops patrolling around than there are civilian vehicles. It's good for EA to make evading the cops harder, but that's just going too far.

I don't know why people rated this as bad as a 5 on ign. Sure, it's not the best NFS to date, but the amount of stuff you can do in the game keeps you busy for quite a while, which is deserving of at least a 7.

I don't get the people complaining about the graphics either. They're fine, unless you play on 800x600 resolution on the lowest of low settings.
