There's no singing involved.

It's a midi file (or MIDI note information) ran through a software vocal synthesizer called "Vocaloid 2".

Someone called Hatsune Miku recorded her voice for Vocaloid 2 and then it's further synthesized when you want the software to play a melody like this.

Does that make sense.

yep, i hear it but i don't know what it's from. the conversion was direct, so if anything errored out it was in the original sound. i didn't notice it until you pointed it our though, so now i'm starting to wonder if it didn't happen in the movie maker conversion. i may just go back and listen to the original and reconvert it if i need to. ty!
