If you convert the video to FLV it can play in the Smart Notebook software and then you can write on top of it.

Is it possible to play, edit, and draw on top of a WMV file while it is being played by Windows Media Player? I want to use a Smart Board to do that. Thanks.

@andyrooney12 Hey. Yeah you can if you open the file in SMART Boards own (SMART Video Player). That lets you write over video and there are a few cool effects you can do in which say, the drawings disappear over time and fade out.

@winxclubheartbratz I used GoAnimate to create the animation and then edited it in iMovie '09 to speed up or slow down the animation. I then super-imposed the video as a PIP and played with the color to make it blend. Hope that helps.
