No Sylar Does not get Elle's power into chapter nine ''It's Coming''. When he attempted to cut open her head in the ''The Butterfly Effect'' it did'nt work because she had like a spazz attack and like shot aton of electricity at Sylar which shot Sylar to the wall and was knocked out with out Elle's power.
Claire's power is on the fritz I think because of Sylar's head trama wound. Or perhaps because there's another eclipse coming.
Sylar saves Peter because mommy said so. Also, perhaps he saw the history of mommy from the 'touch me and know me' power - we haven't seen him use it yet.
Mohinder will probably make the superformula that causes all hell to break loose in the future.
Peter will probably get his powers back from A) the eclipse or B) Daddy's death. Who knows?

Mohinder is being a douche, he turned out to be all about himself, and look what it cost him.

Heroes is finally starting to pick up. Can't wait to see the Haitian again. Forgot to check under my bonfire last night... Hoping I did not kill any turtles/tortoises

You could well be right. But I think he is definitely still on Mamma's side at the moment and just doing a spot of undercover work at Pinehurst
