been watching "Route 66" on MeTV on sunday nights ...I still can't figure out the premise of the show. Two guys wonder aimlessly along route 66 and don't work at jobs very long before they are off and running again....still the shows are interesting enough.
Cool footage! Mr Milner is such a fine actor...and seems like a really nice fella. My stepdad went thru Army basic training with him in the early 50's though didn't have the chance to get to know him well. THANKS for posting this fascinating footage!
Martin Milner is such a kind human being. He appeared on my Public Access TV Series REQUIRED VIEWING, and, I hope you don't mind me suggesting fans type into search: route 66 festival part 1. your video reminds me that when I was a kid, on our family road trips, I loved to see all the abandoned places. nowadays, kids just watch videos as these striking images pass by unnoticed. Thanks for posting!
12-28-2009. Happy Birthday, Martin. Adam-12 will always be one of my all-time favorite shows. Route 66 was one of my father's favorite shows. Ironic that you share your birthday on the date of his death 35 years ago today. I guess there are some things that can't be explained. But enough of that. Martin, many happy returns today.
