i have a 6 gallon tank ive spent hours looking into. i couldnt imagine how much time id spend looking into 750 gallons. i feel bad when one crab dies. macro looks alot better then micro.
I tired posting a video of an 800 gallon tank, but it wont let me. Search youtube for "paul aqua scaping something" That tank looks like it's twice the size of yours.
Wow! This is a really beautiful tank! :) I currently have a 29 gallon with 1 coral beauty, 2 pacific cleaner shrimp, 2 turbo snails. and 4 dwarf hermit crabs (2 blue leg, 2 red tip). I just bought a 55 gallon and will set it up in about a month when I move. I will add 45lb LR, 3 neon damsels, 1 green clown goby, and 1 orange spotted goby, and possibly a see star. I want one more larger fish after that and another group of schooling fish. Maybe a clam once I'm set up for a while. Any suggestions?
uhhhh, why not get rid of 2/3rd of the fish and NEVER have to do water changes. Just make yourself a DIY denitrator. Bam, done. Little to no work for your fish tank.
NEVER have to do a water change? LOL Who told you that you don't need a water change especially in a salt water aquarium. U do need to do water changes but no vacium in a salt water aquarium.
first off beautiful tank. and i know its a 750 gal. but i still think you have to many fish it there because they probably can't get there share of food during feeding time. for them to get there fair share of food you would have to feed them like a whole package of food a day. and your biological waste in the tank produced by the fish may be to strong and over time may hurt your corals and you may start to loose fish unless you do constant water changes.
This guys obviously knows what he's doing. He's got a 750gal for christ sakes!! The fish and corals are thriving so I highly doubt he's gonna listen to ur 2 cents. Nice try though.
just some friendly advice, you might alleviate some of the congestion of feeding time if you fed them in multiple areas of the aquarium. Looks AWESOME BTW!!!
@dca22anderson So you're saying that tank is 10ft long? Doesn't look like it. Pretty deep though. Surely over 300 gallons. Regardless, sweet tank man. An enough fish already. LOL
I jus got a 72 gallon and am cycling it right now with live rock. I plan to put in royal gramma, percula clowns, neon gobys, yellow tang, yellow-tail blue damsels and 5 cleaner shrimp. Some zoas, frogspawn and stuff for corals. Can't wait till it's done!
ok just wanted to ask cause I know some people starve their piranhas and such to whip them up into a feeding frezy for youtube. That's a very nice tank you got there. I got a bunch of freshwater and brackish tanks but none saltwater. Thinking of trying it someday. what would be a good starter reef fish?
Wow very nice looking tank! Hope you didn't starve your fish so they would eat really fast. Looks like you know what you're doing anyway so good work, very nice tank.

How much live rock per gallon you got in there?
Very nice I love those little black and white striped fish. The ones with the really high dorsel fin. What are those called?
Guitar5525 4 years ago
I probablly only have 1lb per gallon. Those are called Black And White Heniochus butterfly fish. They have done great in pairs in our reef.

Wow! Really awesome aquarium! What type, color, and wattage of light do you use to achieve such great colors? Also, what do you feed your fish?
Thanks for sharing your reef with us!
tetsu3000 4 years ago
We have 4-400 watt MH bulbs, 2-10k & 2-20k. We also have 4-6' actinic and 4 10k VHO bulbs.
Krill, brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, Nori, flake foods, silversides and some pellets are the main diet for the fish.
Thanks for checking it out!
