No offense, but at some part the English translation isn't quite correct. Like at the end, he was supposed to say "I will not become a mere memory" and when he stabs Cloud in the shoulder he should have said "What is most important to you? Will you give the pleasure of taking it away?" You know....small things like that.

Will you give me the pleasure of taking it away?" The second is weaker, more awkward. First sounds more like the Sephiroth we love to hate.

Translation is tough; do you go for the literal, or do you go for the sense? I prefer the sense, it's truer, even if the words may not exactly match.
