i really luv this song & this performance but i wish she cud hit the high notes in the "promise ill be kind..." part but its ok, at least she did at the VMA's & on SNL,which was very surprizin cuz i didnt think she cud do that anymore ever since her voice changed :)
@SuMmErGaL09 while i can never be cumpletely sure this is true,i heard that soon after she recorded her debut album The Fame ,her voice changed from a soprano-ish range 2 a contralto range...its quite sad actually,cuz then she had 2 figure out a way 2 sing her soprano recorded songs live in an alto range :( but she must have done sumthin rite cuz she always sounds great live :)
