Some LED's are class 2 lasers. Especially some of the bright blue ones. So you might be careful where you mount them and don't place them so as to have people looking into them like on your dash without a "lamp shade" or frosted plastic covers or your passengers will over time suffer early onset macular degeneration as if they stare at the sun a lot. just saying. Looks cool and so is having eyesight beyond age 50.

i think you need a stand for the camera,
and melting the led s on a plastic plate (sorry i dont know it in english) is a good idea
