Are the Palestinians to live in loneliness, anxiety and waiting to the point of exhaustion as if as a fragment broken off from the rest of the world? The Palestinians' dream is as powerful as their existence!
I read that this will be playing in New York going by the title of While Waiting, and while I think this may be terribly exciting for the actors, I retain a sense of wanting to rid the language of the absurd from the Palestinian narrative:
There is nothing to be done;one can only be. The compulsion to narrate our meaninglessness is our meaning.At the finale Beckett leaves his characters where he found them, alone in silence, unable to live or die, facing the catastrophe of cosmic indifference.
