voice wise, LaToya London has it all (vocals, range) except she really has no fighting spirit of winning or she really has boring personality or maybe she's just down to earth.

Fantasia was soulfully great but quite exaggerated sometimes. Jennifer was really voted out because she sings like Broadway although she has very big voice.

look at this totally robbed contestant ever in AI history. Season's 3 Lisa Leuschner. I believe she would have won that season.

I remember watching most of her performances. (I worked 2nd shift and missed a few of them.) After she was voted off, I stopped watching American Idol. I figured it was fixed.

However, after watching it all these years later, I agree with Simon. She started to get predictable and stayed in her comfort zone too much. She had so much more potential and never used it. I would have liked to see her step out a little more.
