@ColdBlooded97 yes they are a very aggressive snake but if you bond with it at an early age it is possible to have a calm jungle python. I'm working on mine at the moment. she's a 2 month old and very feisty. Starting to wonder if I'm ever going to be able to pick her up without getting bitten at least 20 times
i have a JCP, its 3 and a half months old and is around a foot long. i have a really big enclosure and am looking for a bigger snake that is going to fit better in the enclosure. if anyone has or knows of some one that has a bigger snake please comment back... p.s looking to do straight swap
My boa won't eat hoppers yet either (still a baby) but someone suggested cross scenting to me. Thaw the rat out with a few mice so the rat smells like the mice ^^ it might work! I'm going to try this at the next feeding to see if it works.
Hey mate, just a suggestion but you should really be feeding her rats. JCP's can be picky when switching to rats, the younger the better you switch. Just will cost alot to feed her 7-8 mice per feeding.
I've tried that and pretty much everything else I could think of or read somewhere. I haven't tried in quite a while, so maybe I'll give it a go again.
try getting a rat and this may seem odd but get a can of like fish ,tuna, salmon or something like that and smother the rat in that but u know not alot to point u see fish dripping down the rat just enough to make the rat smell like some fish
5-7ft and females are typically larger, also depends a lot on lineage. They tend to be slimmer snakes, about in the middle between colubrid thickness and a Ball Python's thickness.
I haven't taken a recent video, but the snake in the video is now about 3.5 to 4ft long. She's about to shed so I'll take a video at next feeding.
nice high colors!

If you want to switch her to rats you could try scenting them with chicken broth or soiled mice bedding. Beautiful snake!

Beautiful Jcp. Most of them that I see on here are dull and look like they are from bad bloodlines, but yours is bright and beautiful. Nice snake.

She cost me $100, then $50 on top of that for shipping. They often cost more though depending on lineage and how the parents look.
