  • Many AWA fans didn't know who Dino Bravo was when he made his debut in the AWA with this match, and many thought they had just witnessed the first jobber victory of all time. On the other hand, I knew who he was, and thought at first that Verne was using him as a jobber. Any way you slice it, an odd but exciting introduction to the Twin Cities by Bravo.
