@Salvysahagun The FDR admin already was taxing the highest income bracket at 79%. When Mellon's solutions were put into practice of CUTTING taxes including on the highest bracket in 1921, the economy recoverred and the "rich" paid a larger % of the revenue.

I read through some of the comments by Lefties/Libs below. What a joke! They INSULT the woman in the video rather than deal with the ideas that she presented. It is so typical. Insult the person rather than confront the ideas. Lefties/Libs ALWAYS do this consistently. It is so pathetic.
It's a damn shame that the wicked on the right has turned this beautiful young lady into a mindless zombie at such a young age. So So Sad... What a waste.
@cmosdriver Liberals are ruled by emotion, and emotion comes from the inability to reason through a problem to the point of rational action. Michelle is mature and intelligent and has put effort into becoming that way.
@ehukai26 Conservatives are controlled by the reptilian part of the brain. These are the major features of the Reptilian brain: •Sex •Fear •Heirarchy, tribalism, compartmentization, group think. •Ritualistic behavior. •Territoriality •Possessiveness, greed, power. •Addictive behavior. •Survivalism, worry about jobs, food, shelter etc. •The fight or flight mechanism. I know you can't help it but the first step to overcoming it is to accept and acknowledge it. I am here to help
Hey if you guys want to read a great article about this, I suggest you look on Walter Williams website and there is a pdf. file labeled the "Great Myths of the Great Depression."
Love that this video is grouped with other videos on You Tube that contain facts and figures that completely debunk this revisionist historical liberal version shown here.
Have we forgotten that in the half of his mandate FDR SLASHED spending after seeing a slight recovery, so the 1938 unemployment figure was actually caused by the slash in spending rather than by the New Deal? And what about the actual recovery that came during WWII: wasn't is due to the military expenses, a.k.a. a federal stimulus? What a bunch of liars you are...
Excellent video! Keynesianism keeps coming back because Arthur Laffer told us that there was no housing bubble. Such humongous errors take back to life their dead theories. In the 1930s it was Hayek and others who said that "loose money" caused the Great Depression when it is clear that "tight money" triggered it and tighter money made it even worse along with all the stuff shown here. It would be so nice to have quarterly figures of growth during the Great Depression.
The same Michelle Fields that stood in front of cops during an OWS takeover of the streets of NY and claimed to be assaulted? Your stunt there did more to advance the marxist agenda than this video could ever undo.
@ButterflyDragon9 If you're talking about the same video I think you're talking about then she had every right to feel threatened especially considering all the acts of sexual assaults and violence that did actually happen. More than 400 reported cases with links to verify on the Big Government website.
@Yakko77 No. The video where the cop pushed her because they were clearing the streets. She was right in the middle of the street mingling with all the hipsters with a line of cops steadily moving up the street clearing them off the roadway. She just stood there and got pushed by a cop. A couple of the hippies helped her up and took her to the sidewalk (where she should have been to start with).
The OWS crowd loved having a "conservative reporter assaulted by police" story to run with.
Government interference in the free interactions of people(the market) is ALWAYS an attempt to cheat reality. Insane and childish. It's a game of let's pretend. Let's pretend that everyone has earned and can afford a house. Let's pretend that everyone is equally credit worthy. Let's take money from some people and give it to others so we all can pretend that they are prosperous.
You can fool reality only for so long. Then it all comes crashing down. Reality always wins. Game Over.
If Obama had spent less time seeking out Marxist professors in college he might have learned some basic economics. Read articles: "The Entitlement Frankenstein" "Barack Obama, Fabian Socialist" "Steve Jobs and the anti-jobs president" "More people realizing Obama IS a socialist" "Whitewashing History, Obama Style" "Obama pushes up oil, gas and electric rates as he promised" "Union agenda is Obama's agenda" "ObamaCare: The “Final Solution” for the Enslavement of Medicine" "Debt quotes"
How and why so many admire FDR for his "leadership" during the Great Depression will forever be a mystery to me. That it lasted so long under his watch and only ended with the build up for WWII and yet so many kept on re-electing him just as so many foolish sheeple voted for Obama.... oh, how history repeats itself.
@Salvysahagun Actually we had our biggest boom in industry, technological growth, personal wealth once we ended world war 2 and government got out of the way. So my answer to your question would be that our economy boomed when free markets were allowed in. Our country has been over-regulated for the last 3 presidential terms and has had massive government involvement in the market. How do you like your economy today?
@Salvysahagun Hitler built the Autobahn, Enriched the lives of German citizens, and helped advance Germany technologically. Same situation. Government can do many things. However to do anything they need to take from the people and spend more on doing things in order to achieve the same result. This is never seen better then airports. The safest, cheapest, and best quality airports are private.
@Salvysahagun Which will lead to a bigger debt, bubble, and continue war. I am not disputing that Government can build things like railroads and highways. What I am trying to get into your skull is the fact that when government does it they have to spend more money to get the same quality and that money comes from theft. If I want to build an interstate I pay 50 million and set up toll booths. When the government does it they subsidize, spend 100 million, cont
@Salvysahagun sell the highway to a corporation, who then sets up a toll booth. My way is that I spent 50 million of my money/investor money to build something and set up a toll booth tho profit. The government way is they took 100 million from you, paid a corporation like me to build it, and later when debt was piling up sold it to me for pennies on the dollar and I set up a toll booth anyway. Government subsidies give temporary prosperity in exchange for future debt and turmoil.
By setting up toll booths you prevent the productive capacity from rising.
Laizzie Faire Free Market never build an industrialized nation.
Are you calling the American Gilded Age and 1950-1968 a bubble? if so then their has never been an era in America of solid prosperity and industrialization is just an illusion.
@Salvysahagun The age after the WW2 was Capitalism at it's finest. We boomed. Then, as most nations do, we got rich. Then we said hey we should set up more things to take care of people. so government set up things with more tax payer money. Debt was accumulating so we went to war. We went to this country and that country. Then the corporations got involved and we went to Fascism. Now we got to wars not only to offset our debt, but to secure the wealth of the elite.
@Salvysahagun Your just making this stuff up lol. Roosevelt grew the government, stole gold from citizens to finance his schemes, and ended up with the exact same unemployment with simply a bigger debt. Our Golden age came when government backed off, hardly HAmitlons choice of government involvement, so again you find yourself mistaken. You can say 2_2=5 and that the sun revolves around the earth, but that doesn't make it true. cont
And we had a boom because we used the projects Roosevelt built. The problem was he focused to much on social projects not enough industrial ones.
I don't think we would be very far with the 1920s sub 50% literacy rates. don't forget Hill-Burton which built most of the Charity Hospitals Ron Paul raves about.
@Salvysahagun Hitler built the Autobahn that people still use today. The cost and sacrifice of these projects do matter. If you support good things through theft so much then you should support me ribbing you to buy things I want. Because that's all Roosevelt did. Lastly all the good projects undertaken in the 20's came about because of an artificially boom which lead to the bust. You can't cheer for the good things and be mad at the consequences. /watch?v=N7NQO5r9_qk

@Salvysahagun Lastly, Roosevelt built those things by stealing Gold from American citizens through executive order so thank you again for praising theft. He stole money from people, built cool things with it, and had the same amount of unemployment with a bigger debt. Sure when government got out of the way after the war and our country was finally able to boom we made use of these things, just as people make use of the Autobahn. Please learn your history.
@Salvysahagun Your inability to factor in deductibles to the high tax rates is your own folly. Also the fact that you have no understanding of a free market. Free market is not no government it is limited Government. All Government exists to do is protect your rights. Their business in the market is to protect contractual obligations and private property rights. Not to subsidies this group, cut competition of this group, etc. that is how we got the Fascism of today
@Salvysahagun Actually taxes in the 1950's were 91% deducted to less then 30%. One of the biggest deductions ion the 1950's was the 1 to 1070 deduction. This was that if you put 1 dollar of your profits into your company you got a tax deduction of 1070. So any business which decided to expand, give raises, buy more equipment, etc got thousands of dollars of a deduction for each dollar. We pay much higher taxes now in comparison. cont
@Salvysahagun Roosevelt built nice things good. Roosevelt did this through theft and executive order to steal the Gold people had saved up. Bad. Funny how hypocrites are so easy to point out. You can't support what Hitler did without supporting what he had to do to achieve it. For instance, I pay for my dying mother's medical bills. Good. I do so by way of stealing/murder from other people. Bad. Also while your economists were saying the housing bubble would never end they predicted it :)
@Salvysahagun The housing bubble was caused by two things. 1) Federal Reserve set artificially low interest rates encouraging banks to borrow more money because it appeared their were more savings in the market then were actually there. 2) The Government subsidized banks losses. If banks made a loan to groups deemed risky they now had the comfort of knowing that the Government would foot the bill on their behalf. cont
@Salvysahagun This encouraged banks to make all of these loans that under normal circumstances they would not have made. This lead to their wealth to grow a few hundred percent during the bubble build up. Well all good things come to an end and the bubble crashed when the federal reserve finally had to raise interest rates. /watch?v=mDp65Juibes&feature
@Salvysahagun We don't disagree with the derivatives part. What I am saying it is the FED and the Federal Government whom created the bubble. You seem to disagree even though Tarpley does not. with regards to Tarpley's view on Ron Paul I have always been confused. On the one hand Tarpley says we can't bring the troops home and on the other hand he says we are the terrorists in other countries. Also Austrians were kicked out of Nazi Germany and their books were banned :)
@Salvysahagun I would ask the same of you since I never even mentioned when derivatives were legalized. I simply pointed out that I agree that derivatives played their roll, the problem which was created by Big Business and Big Government. Reagan also had some fun dealings with the Contras. Other irrelevant information to our discussion, but if you are simply on a Reagan binge their you go :)
@Salvysahagun Also Webster Tarpley is waking up to the stupidity of Big Government being trusted to boost the economy through spending: /watch?v=U4bILja_fXw
@Salvysahagun So to summarize our entire conversation until this point you say Bog Government and Government spending is good for the economy/people. I point out any good the Government has actually achieved they did at a bad cost to people. You say derivatives destroyed the economy. I do not disagree although I blame the Federal Reserve and Government. You bring up Webster Tarpley agreeing with both of us about derivatives, but add in how he doesn't like Ron Paul. cont
@Salvysahagun Secondly, we have been fascist for the last 20-30 years respectively so of course we have not pursued these projects, unless you count the billion dollar embassy in Baghdad which is bigger then the Vatican. However, if I was legally allowed to steal the money from the American people once in awhile I too could build something people could use. Does this justify my theft? Also thank you for liking the Autobahn. The price was many Jewish lives but small cost right?
@Salvysahagun Actually come to think of it you must love the economics of the last 3 presidents right? High regulations, Government and Business in bed together, higher debt, etc. I mean sure we need to get more loans from other countries to survive, get more loans from the FED, continue to got o war to profiteer simply to keep our country afloat, but hey we get a highway out of it!
@Salvysahagun Lastly, I have already explained to you how Government can perform the act of constructing Highways and such but it is more expensive then letting it develop privately and they get their money through theft. In the end when debt accumulates they sell off these private things to Big Corproations anyway who then put in the toll booths anyway. You seem to be willfully ignorant, but if you do support governments plans then you must love Hitler. Built autobahn, boomed economy, etc.
I am ignorant? I just stated Several program used during the Golden Age of Capitalism to expand growth.
Tariffs, Excise Taxes, and Debt Free Money are the best ways to fund expansionary policies.
The Gilded Age was dominated by Hamiltonian Economics. Tarrifs peaked at 57% unde Mckinley (Patriot)! and they where lowest at 28% under Cleveland (Disaster)!
Your free market no government society is a FAIRY TALE. It does not exist.
@Salvysahagun 1) The tariffs when they were at 57% had so many deductibles that no one ever paid those high taxes. Cleveland lowered tariffs to 28% and removed most deductibles. Which made that 28% more expensive. Lastly, we get all of our money on loan from the FED. It comes with interest. We have not had debt free currency since 1913 so yes you still show your ignorance.
Hoover is free market? Hoover dam was govt project and named after Hoover where he was the tosser who approved it. where on earth do people get info from?
Yea but you're using facts, I don't like that. I'd rather see Rachael Maddow put on a paper mask and ridicule Hoover and listen to Krugman tell us we need a fake alien invasion.
Does your plan involve a fake alien attack? I think not. I rest my case.

I read through some of the comments by Lefties/Libs below. What a joke! They INSULT the woman in the video rather than deal with the ideas that she presented. It is so typical. Insult the person rather than confront the ideas. Lefties/Libs ALWAYS do this consistently. It is so pathetic.

Game Over.

Because Industrial Policies or in you language "Government intervention" is what created the modern world
How did Free markets ever create a industrial economic power?
America's industrial power was a credited to the Hamiltonian American System.
Salvysahagun 2 months ago in playlist Uploaded videos
@Salvysahagun Actually we had our biggest boom in industry, technological growth, personal wealth once we ended world war 2 and government got out of the way. So my answer to your question would be that our economy boomed when free markets were allowed in. Our country has been over-regulated for the last 3 presidential terms and has had massive government involvement in the market. How do you like your economy today?
YaHuWaHservant 2 months ago
@YaHuWaHservant
So what do you call the interstate highway system, NASA chips, $100 billion budget, and sent a man to the moon?
Salvysahagun 2 months ago
@Salvysahagun Hitler built the Autobahn, Enriched the lives of German citizens, and helped advance Germany technologically. Same situation. Government can do many things. However to do anything they need to take from the people and spend more on doing things in order to achieve the same result. This is never seen better then airports. The safest, cheapest, and best quality airports are private.
YaHuWaHservant 2 months ago
@YaHuWaHservant
Government interventions in favor production created the Modernized world.
As did Protectionism.
We never used Classical Economics to create growth. Gilded Age we had 45% Tarriffs and Subsidized EVERY Railroad.
Post War America we where launching Major Projects, like Hill-Burton HealthCare, Interstate Highway System, Tennessee Valley, and NASA.
Now we are subsidizing consumption
Salvysahagun 2 months ago
@Salvysahagun Which will lead to a bigger debt, bubble, and continue war. I am not disputing that Government can build things like railroads and highways. What I am trying to get into your skull is the fact that when government does it they have to spend more money to get the same quality and that money comes from theft. If I want to build an interstate I pay 50 million and set up toll booths. When the government does it they subsidize, spend 100 million, cont
YaHuWaHservant 2 months ago
@Salvysahagun sell the highway to a corporation, who then sets up a toll booth. My way is that I spent 50 million of my money/investor money to build something and set up a toll booth tho profit. The government way is they took 100 million from you, paid a corporation like me to build it, and later when debt was piling up sold it to me for pennies on the dollar and I set up a toll booth anyway. Government subsidies give temporary prosperity in exchange for future debt and turmoil.
YaHuWaHservant 2 months ago 8
@YaHuWaHservant
Salvysahagun 2 months ago
@Salvysahagun The age after the WW2 was Capitalism at it's finest. We boomed. Then, as most nations do, we got rich. Then we said hey we should set up more things to take care of people. so government set up things with more tax payer money. Debt was accumulating so we went to war. We went to this country and that country. Then the corporations got involved and we went to Fascism. Now we got to wars not only to offset our debt, but to secure the wealth of the elite.
YaHuWaHservant 2 months ago

American Developmental Capitalism golden era.
We used policies of Hamilton, Lincoln, Carey, Roosevelt, and Kennedy.
We underwent Industrial projects like Interstate Highway, Hill Burton, and NASA

Salvysahagun 2 months ago
@Salvysahagun Your just making this stuff up lol. Roosevelt grew the government, stole gold from citizens to finance his schemes, and ended up with the exact same unemployment with simply a bigger debt. Our Golden age came when government backed off, hardly HAmitlons choice of government involvement, so again you find yourself mistaken. You can say 2_2=5 and that the sun revolves around the earth, but that doesn't make it true. cont
YaHuWaHservant 2 months ago
@YaHuWaHservant

YaHuWaHservant 2 months ago
@Salvysahagun Your inability to factor in deductibles to the high tax rates is your own folly. Also the fact that you have no understanding of a free market. Free market is not no government it is limited Government. All Government exists to do is protect your rights. Their business in the market is to protect contractual obligations and private property rights. Not to subsidies this group, cut competition of this group, etc. that is how we got the Fascism of today

The Free Market Has NEVER existed nor can it. Name three era of prosperity thanks to Free Markets? Non?
Taxes in the 1950s where 91% deducted down to 40%
Salvysahagun 2 months ago
@Salvysahagun Actually taxes in the 1950's were 91% deducted to less then 30%. One of the biggest deductions ion the 1950's was the 1 to 1070 deduction. This was that if you put 1 dollar of your profits into your company you got a tax deduction of 1070. So any business which decided to expand, give raises, buy more equipment, etc got thousands of dollars of a deduction for each dollar. We pay much higher taxes now in comparison. cont

this is hilarious you just spewing Peter Schiff, Ron Paul, or Lew Rockwell research.

Salvysahagun 2 months ago
@Salvysahagun Roosevelt built nice things good. Roosevelt did this through theft and executive order to steal the Gold people had saved up. Bad. Funny how hypocrites are so easy to point out. You can't support what Hitler did without supporting what he had to do to achieve it. For instance, I pay for my dying mother's medical bills. Good. I do so by way of stealing/murder from other people. Bad. Also while your economists were saying the housing bubble would never end they predicted it :)
YaHuWaHservant 2 months ago
@YaHuWaHservant
The gold was to counter deflation.
My economist called the actual crash (derivatives) while right wingers just think it was a housing bubble but won't acknolewge the real problem.
Please do some actual research of data not just Austrian School propaganda.
Salvysahagun 2 months ago
@Salvysahagun The housing bubble was caused by two things. 1) Federal Reserve set artificially low interest rates encouraging banks to borrow more money because it appeared their were more savings in the market then were actually there. 2) The Government subsidized banks losses. If banks made a loan to groups deemed risky they now had the comfort of knowing that the Government would foot the bill on their behalf. cont
YaHuWaHservant 2 months ago 4

What are you spewing nonsense?
Salvysahagun 2 months ago
@Salvysahagun I would ask the same of you since I never even mentioned when derivatives were legalized. I simply pointed out that I agree that derivatives played their roll, the problem which was created by Big Business and Big Government. Reagan also had some fun dealings with the Contras. Other irrelevant information to our discussion, but if you are simply on a Reagan binge their you go :)
YaHuWaHservant 2 months ago
@Salvysahagun Also Webster Tarpley is waking up to the stupidity of Big Government being trusted to boost the economy through spending: /watch?v=U4bILja_fXw
YaHuWaHservant 2 months ago
@Salvysahagun So to summarize our entire conversation until this point you say Bog Government and Government spending is good for the economy/people. I point out any good the Government has actually achieved they did at a bad cost to people. You say derivatives destroyed the economy. I do not disagree although I blame the Federal Reserve and Government. You bring up Webster Tarpley agreeing with both of us about derivatives, but add in how he doesn't like Ron Paul. cont

YaHuWaHservant 2 months ago
@Salvysahagun Secondly, we have been fascist for the last 20-30 years respectively so of course we have not pursued these projects, unless you count the billion dollar embassy in Baghdad which is bigger then the Vatican. However, if I was legally allowed to steal the money from the American people once in awhile I too could build something people could use. Does this justify my theft? Also thank you for liking the Autobahn. The price was many Jewish lives but small cost right?

YaHuWaHservant 2 months ago
@Salvysahagun Actually come to think of it you must love the economics of the last 3 presidents right? High regulations, Government and Business in bed together, higher debt, etc. I mean sure we need to get more loans from other countries to survive, get more loans from the FED, continue to got o war to profiteer simply to keep our country afloat, but hey we get a highway out of it!
YaHuWaHservant 2 months ago
@Salvysahagun Lastly, I have already explained to you how Government can perform the act of constructing Highways and such but it is more expensive then letting it develop privately and they get their money through theft. In the end when debt accumulates they sell off these private things to Big Corproations anyway who then put in the toll booths anyway. You seem to be willfully ignorant, but if you do support governments plans then you must love Hitler. Built autobahn, boomed economy, etc.
YaHuWaHservant 2 months ago
@YaHuWaHservant
OMFG your economic history is retarded.
Salvysahagun 2 months ago
@Salvysahagun 1) The tariffs when they were at 57% had so many deductibles that no one ever paid those high taxes. Cleveland lowered tariffs to 28% and removed most deductibles. Which made that 28% more expensive. Lastly, we get all of our money on loan from the FED. It comes with interest. We have not had debt free currency since 1913 so yes you still show your ignorance.
