@REDROUSHWA Oh, well I forgot to mention that it's just a Stage 1. It still looks awesome blacked out and with the aftermarket wheels. Definitely will get some video up, when the weather is permitting..
I have JBA Exhaust on a 2008 427R but I love the the Roush Rear Valence. So your telling me I can take my JBA Exhaust and purchase JUST the tips from Roush and carry it to a good Muffler shop and they can cut / bend my JBA exhaust to fit this rear valence with their tips ?
It maybe impossible with the JBA exhaust since on the extreme exhaust system the mufflers(tub type) are moved way up under the car. Your JBA muffers I believe are to close to the rear of the car so the extra bended pipe to fit the square tips and valance, may not have the room.

If you do go with the Roush Extreme System, it will work.
This is because there are few early 2005 Roush mustangs that have this option. You can say it's a rare option from Roush.
Also note the rear Stage 2 deck Badge is non Italic.
This is also a rare part since the change to Italic ones came in mid 2006.
Also different and not seen, is the Roush hood scoop. On the 2005 Roush Mustangs the scoops never became avalible until 2006. Even though Roush offered them as an option, production ones didn't come out until 2006.
Im sold! Im converting my GT slowly into a Roush. I just installed the entire bodykit but held off on the rear Valence because Roush performance says youhave to use Roush exhaust in conjunction with the rear Valence. But after hearing your clip..im going to order this set up! Was it a pain getting those tips to line up properly?
It wasn't to bad . A good muffler shop can help you out with what you need to do it.
Your gonna have to add some pipe and new hangers to make it fit. It shouldn't cost you any more the $120 for parts and labor. The Roush Extreem Exhaust is a bit pricey but it's the best for the job and the sound is well worth it. Wait til you drive past the people staring at you and see how much your grin will be.
I just called Roush Performance and ordered the Exhaust! I plan to order the Rear Valence and tips January 1st and have them al installed No later than January 15th. Im stationed in Alaska and January 1st marks the first date of no more IM test..so Headers and off road H pipes should be beautiful withthis set up! Thanks for this video and I will post a video once I have my exhaust installed!
Hey thanks again my friend! I took your advive ordered the Roush extreme and got my rear valence on with the square tips and loving it. Now im in the market for L/T's and mid pipe to pick up a few horses and a nice sound. I saw pics of your ride on other sites..Beautiful Roush!
Just got a black '05 Roush 2 weeks ago (only 34,000 miles) :)

It's nice to have the first of this mustang body style(S-197) from Roush.
Also not many Stage 2's were built in 2005.
You should post some photos or video of yours.

but is the bumper vented?

@tonyjamison
Yes it does. The rear air deffusers nicknamed "the fork lift holes" are very rare.
It has rear air diffusers with were on the factory built early 2005 Roush Mustangs only.
You are very lucky if you can find them, or if you can find a wrecked early 2005 Roush that has them.
Roush did sell a few in later 2005-06 as a option,
but only from leftover stock parts off the early 2005(again very rare)

Very Cool, I'd love to see the video.
You are gonna love the sound, and the feel as you roar down the Highway.

you could make that sound better with long tube headers and bassani or slp's
nascar2w 2 years ago
Long tube headers it has-(American racing).
Roush Extreem exhaust goes as a Roush part.
SLP or Bassani wont work with the Square roush tips needed on the 2005 Stage 2 rear valance.
Only thing make it louder is to dump the Cats which would make it illegal in our State.(I'm keeping the high flow cats).
