  • Oh yeah I have all those parts in a drawer somewhere. No problem.

  • does it also work with a m42 tubus??? i think m42 lenses are better as eos lenses.. and also cheaper ;)

  • I thought the title said "....5 Sissy steps...." hahaha

  • Great Video...

  • I checked on ebay and the least expensive Ee-a screen is $24.99 !!!

I am gonna get one but I need to hurry because there is only 2 available...

  • i love how much work went into the animation, then at the end the camera just looks like a tissue box with a toilet paper tube stuck in it....

  • What's the vibration for, why does it need to have a vibrator?

  • @DaveDrumstick to avoid seeing dust on the video

  • @DaveDrumstick

I needs to vibrate because any dust or imperfection on the screen will become very visible on the final footage, even a finger print. The vibration blurs these imperfections so you can't see it. However, this will not work if you are using a high shutter speed.

  • @DaveDrumstic you said vibrator. you have to manually adjust your digital camera to focus on the focusing screen, where the 35mm lens focuses the image it captures. think of it like filming your television with a camera. the reason it needs to vibrate is because there are tiny imperfections in the focusing screen that the digital camera will capture. by vibrating the focusing screen you effectivley blur them out of view. they make static dof adapters picture isn't as good.

  • What's the purpose in using this vibrating?

    Thks.

  • @barrovirtual bit late but to keep dust of the screen

  • so the canon extension tubes are 58mm and the reason for the 55mm uv filter is that you can put it inside the extension tube right? so why not just buy a 58mm? xD

  • is this any different than using 24p?

  • any can tell me what does it do this plzzzzzzzzzz whats this 4 im new on useing camcorders

  • it's basically a device that helps to create a semi-transparent clothes look for your subjects.. Obviously this shouldn't be used for any reason, other than to demonstrate what a scarf or kerchief looks like under a jacket or a sweatshirt or something. Many people think it can be used to see people naked, but that is only the case if you are turned on by what the inside of an ovary looks like. it gets in there pretty good.

  • Rolf ...Rolf...LMAO..... lolzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • buy a 16mm bolex and save yourself the embarrassment

  • and spend a ton of money on processing and telecine? why bother when you can achieve excellent results building this adapter. you mug.

  • Would this work on a Sony FX7?

  • Thats what I wanna know...

  • someone plz help me building this plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz : (

  • Is there a benefit to using the vibrating one over the static one?

  • They say that a the vibrations give the "film flicker" effect. I was the focus puller on a production using the Jag35 with a Panasonic HVX200; I have a Sony HDR HC1. There were obviously differences, but when shooting outside or in good light, it's practically impossible to notice a huge difference.

  • vibration eliminates grains and textures seen on the ground glass.

  • So that's it?

  • YES big diffrence

  • I managed to build one without an achromat-since my camcorder already has a macro function. Check my testing vid!

  • plz help me building one plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz : (

  • Can i use a cellphone vibrating motor or is that too much vibration?

    Cheers!

  • I am probably blind, but I don't see a link to your website? How do I order from you?

    Fantastic work, btw

  • I was very interested in this project. My only criticism was that I coudn't read the text properly.

    Thanks for sharing your design.

  • it would also be very nice to know what kind of price range this will set us back if we do build it.

  • less than 150, and you get to support this guy with 70 bucks, its worth it I think

  • nikon d90

  • omg, your a nerd for SAYING "omg"

  • OMG!

  • Great work on your video. I'm wondering if your planning on making these and selling them? I would much rather buy one from someone who has done it already. I'm looking to hook it up to a canon hv30. Thanks

  • hey if it is hard for you to read the text there is only one reason for that. You cant really read or it is very difficult for you.

    I had no problems.

    greeting theflasher

  • its very informative but there are so many grammatical/syntax errors its difficult to read quickly. and, seriously, you put so much time into the 3-D graphics (which look great), why do you use colored font? it's really hard to read some of the time...

  • Hey I want to buy 35 MM adapter with build everything

  • Awesome effort you put in man... hats off to you for being so generous with your knowledge!

  • man this is so cool i am in tears /cry (because it is so beautiful)
