Why does he say he takes a card from each pile? He actually takes two cards from the outside piles (and that are the ones he shuffels in his favorite way). So... the rest is setting up the deck. You see he is looking at the cards everytime.

well first off, when he says he tskes an ace from each pile, he is actually taking one off each end then placeing the two end piles on top an taking another card off of each of those piles...so he is taking 2 cards off of the top of each END pile...which were the ones he did the fake overhand shuffle...but thats all i got so far...GOOD TRICK

I think it's a decent trick. Work on being less obvious about where you cut the cards. Maybe just hold a few breaks. That way you don't have to look at the cards to know where to split them up.
