shit dude i should have watched this before i started bleaching :(
it was at a really dark brown when i started bleaching and after three bleaches its only at a dark blonde colour. i need to bleach it again before i can finally tone it, so its gonna be like hay :(
hey i bleached my hair and it turned a light orange at the roots, ash blond at the rest of the hair .then my mom was like go to the salon to fix it out, but they didn't bleach my roots just put some ash blonde (8.1) and my hair was like a dark golden blond at the ends, ash blond at the middle and a brownish orange at the roots. so i wonder if i could just bleach my whole hair except the roots to a pale yellow without using a hair stripper? would it be ok? i mean i haven't dyed my hair pink :)
@hantkor188 that'll be fine .. if you want to get your new growth the same light blonde, use quick blue from loreal: they sell it at sallys. its perfect for touch ups and on-scalp applications cuz it wont burn ur scalp.
thanks! i just put in semi-perm BLACK cause i was feeling lazy about my dark roots....now i want it OUT and my blonde back! Your tips help! I hope!!!! :)
i started thinking... from my current black hair to bleach it to an orange/blond state. then attempt to dye over it with a green/blue permanent/demi-perm to neutralize the red/blond to get a darker neutral shade. questioning myself... would the green/blue even take? or take over too much? or would i come up with a color unknown to man? like a suicide color hmmmMMMm...
ive been reading around trying to get an better understanding. blue/purple base dye/toner suppose-ably cancel out the brassy color of the red and yellow tones in hair to get a more neutral color (white/silver) since opposite colors cancel each other out right? but those toners will only work if your hair is bleached of almost all of it pigments
ive been wanting to dye my hair a much darker shade of silver. how would u think best to go about it?
do i go the long road and bleach with a 30 volume, then let my hair recover for 2 weeks, then bleach, then recover, then bleach until almost all of its pigments is gone, then dye it with a diluted black to get that darker neutral shade of silver
--- if your hair is substancially long, you could bleach with foils to cunduct heat--this will make it lift faster. but careful not to burn your scalp!-- if your hair is black, you might have to bleach twice.. the second one shouldn't take as long as the first. then you can tone -- but diluting a black dye wont get you silver hair-- use a toner like silver lady : when you go looking for a toner- look at the swatch and ask if u need help :)
Hey dude, just wanted to say that ur hair looks rly amazing!! and ur haircut is like ausome dude!! i wanna ask u , what brand is ur dye? and if their are other brands that has the same color as yours. cuz i live in the middle east , and ive been searching for the same exact color but i cnt find!! , oh last thing, what is the exact name for ur hair color? thanx alot i rly appreciate it :D
i use wella color charm t14 silver lady. wella is an international brand so u might be able to find it... if not, manic panic sells a toner called virgin snow, you can buy it online- there is also clairol professional 232d Extra light platinum
yes, but you HAVE to read the box.. some are for permanent and some are for semi-permanent. make sure you get the right one, im sure the ppl working there will be able to help if you are not sure which one to get :)
hmm i just cutted all my old hair to do this XD , i only left like the virgin hair ... like 1 inch . im sad because i had long black hair but its worth it , it will grow @_@. "" Im using fanci full # 12 and purple shampoo and conditioner and yes its silver XD . some ppl ask me if im doing cosplay i hate that
id say yes.. make sure you don't add too much developer or your bleaching cream will be too runny to stay in your hair! --- read the ratios for your developer.
You might still be able to get rid of some of the dye by using a color stripper: you can find them at sallys : make sure it says its for permanent color and it strips the color. Once you've stripped the dye, you can continue bleaching :) but make sure not to over bleach or the hair will be super damaged. I say you bleach once every week until you achieve the lighness you want. Deep condition in between bleachings! :)
There is a number of reasons it didn't bleach: if your friend had dyed his hair black, it won't lift as easily:especially black dye. He mightve gotten ratios of powder and developer wrong-- the consistency of the bleach should not be too watery. Or he might have not saturated the hair enough for the bleach to take.
--- I looovee redken cat it worked miracles on my hair lol

the color corrector u mix it with the beach thing?????
wwetaker619 2 years ago
with the color corrector, u mix both solutionsthat come in the box together and apply to ur hair.
with the un-color system, u just apply to hair and lather .
neither of them are mixed with any bleach or other product.

dont do it. lol
that will only make your hair a nasty puke green. the only real way to achieve a "white" tint to your hair is to decolor to a pale yellow and tone.
or your hair can be bleached to a blonde stage and then tone once and just keep using the purple shampoo-- it gradually turns paler. :)

is the problem of his hair or the bleachng powder or the peroxide?
