  • at 2100 feet plus, the plane is a speck. had my easy star that high and almost lost it due to some passing clouds. i like fly it high but again, thermals clouds elevate the plane so high, it's gone. need a bigger plane to go higher. nice flight nonetheless

  • In my opinion, if you have EVER played a flight game, dont waste your money on the simulator. It would be pointless.

And its not that hard to fly it even on your first time.

Just make sure u have an open field.

    =)

  • Guys guys where the heck do I buy this Dynam RC HawkSky from? Been looking all over the place.

  • @Mark1Mach2 You can get one at - Nitroplanes (dot) com I'm ordering one this Tuesday! (:

  • @bucketlistVlog thanks. I did order it from nitroplanes a while back. Yet to take it out for a test run, practicing on the simulator.

  • @Mark1Mach2 where did you get the simulator?

  • @bucketlistVlog I got it from nitroplanes. It is an extra 20 bucks, comes with the cd and the controller, do get it, learning a lot on it.

  • Great flight and thanks for the info on the camera. Inspiring, just ordered a Bixler from Hobby King and a simulator, hope to do some fling like this soon, thanks again.

  • THIS MUSIC MAKES ME WANT TO KILL MYSELF!!! jeze!

  • @anthony3leaves It pleases me to know I may have been the catalyst in your suicide.

  • @z32upgrader lmfao

  • nice...I have a v2 supermegajet mnted to my radian and the Gopro on the nose! It is a cool (but risky!)location for a camera. I submitted a video response if you want to see the results. Thermaling (just about 2 mins in)over the local school track and field. Not such a cool place as this though! Nice video.

  • very cool, just got a hawk sky, planning the same motor upgrade in the future. Where is this video taken at? it looks like a really nice area.

  • cool video. how do you have the camera mounted? it kinda looks like it maybe vertical in side where the canopy just wondering I've been looking at getting a camera kinda like the one you are using.

  • @DarkJet101 yes, the camera is sitting vertically inside the canopy with a rubber band holding it in place. Thx for watching

  • @z32upgrader ok thanks

  • wow great flying! what planet is this on? cause im on planet 150x kinda by intergalatic highway 82, exit 3B, but you have to slow down to like 10lyph cause its pretty populated....

  • @meetsouder What is wrong with you? Don't you recognize Planet Terra when you see it? I'm at exit 11A, but we don't have congestion problems 'cuz everyone is trying to get off of Terra, saying it's gonna blow up or something in a year and a half....idiots.

  • @z32upgrader lol

  • nie dude didnt know rcairplanes could fly that high

  • Beautiful flying! It must be lovely to fly in that area!

  • Nice Video....gotta love that setup!

  • @graysonhobby Yep sure do! This is my 3rd Hawk Sky and second Grayson Hobby motor. My first motor ended up in the drink with my second Hawk Sky. Whoops.

  • pretty cool. I would have liked to see the ground more, maybe you could sling the camera below and angle the view downwards instead of straight forward?

  • Great Flight and Video. Any chance you could show or tell me how you mounted your camera? Very interested to see how you did it.

  • Were you flying it FPV at the time, or was this all line of site? That's some impressive distance if you weren't flying it from the video feed.

  • @DarkLordofDebate My entire line of videos were all flown line of sight as I can't afford real-time FPV as of yet. Thanks for watching and the nice comment.

  • Perfect landing! Awesome video!

  • i never understood why people don't just put the camera in the nose?

  • @AirForcedude5 There are a couple factors. One being that nearly every airplane has a narrow, pointed nose and/or the prop and engine are already there making camera placement a challenge. Secondly, adding weight to the nose throws off the Center of Gravity something very important in a properly flying airplane.

  • @z32upgrader

lets not forgot that accidents happen and the odds of the plane taking a nose dive or likely.

  • @HolyKnight171 If you watch the end of my flight in clouds video you can see the slot I carved for the camera all the way aft inside the plane. I secure the camera with a large rubber band threaded through the hole the wings plug into and loop the ends around my camera.

  • Its obvious that you really know what your doing! Awesome job. Thank you. I have enough trouble seeing it when its not that high so congrats!

  • hi i was looking at this and it really made me wanna buy one but im a beginner so i dident no if theres a plane i should get instead of that...

  • @241Snipe I started with the Hobbyzone Super Cub, great plane, but about $70 pricier than the Hawk Sky. If you are no longer crashing on the simulator, you'll do fine with the Hawk sky. Remember when the plane is flying at you, push the stick towards the low wing to level it out. Good luck!

  • @z32upgrader thank you

  • Sweet video. Did you purchase that camera from the link you provided or somewhere else? Not seeing a lot of places out there that even offer this camera but the video quality was very good for that price.

Also, would you be able to explain how you mounted the camera or provide a link to a picture showing how you mounted it?

  • @madman962 No, I bought the camera from a deal-a-day website, but found the same one at the link provided. I simply cut away some foam from the inside of the Hawk Sky, the camera sits perfectly inside, and put a rubber band through the space the wings plug into and looped the ends over the camera. Holds it nice and solid, can even fly inverted with no problem. Thanks for watching

  • Absolutely beautiful flight! I have the same airplane. :)

  • Awesum flight. it almost looks like ur piloting from a video feed. exelent turn out on the quality too. what cam do u use?

  • @pistolpetepeterson please read description

  • i just got this plane and boy does it look like a roll of duct tape .. haha

flies great .. i ended up getting a 20 amp esc and a v3 micro jet inrunner . awsome ..

then i paralleled 2 lipo 11.1v 3s 2200 mah .. 28 min flights .. i need a new one or parts ,, crashed alot before i got it ok . haa great vid

  • Can you actually see the shape of the plane that high up, or do you judge its orientation by how it reacts to your control inputs?

  • @JoeFahey It is very difficult to see the plane at that altitude. Seems like it is barely moving. I use my peripheral vision to tell which way it is going. I just stare at one spot near the tiny shape of my plane and I'm able to tell which way it's going. Look away for a split second and it's gone. I'll sometimes use the scope from my rifle to get a better look.

  • I just bought one of the planes (full stock) and since I don't have have the transmitter and receiver I am using the one that came with the plane. Even though it has not gone on its maiden flight I am already looking at the motor upgrade. Just like me, perhaps I should learn to fly first - Ya think. Great video and the music was spot on!

  • did u need to up grade the speed controller with the new motor? great video.

    john

  • @justfly60482 The motor comes with an ESC so yes. The stock motor connectors are very different from the bullet connectors on the new motor.

  • This is beautiful, nice camera for $80. You should slap one of those mini wide-angle liens on there to max the view. Like those nose dives too, you fly that thing like you're it in!

  • Good taste of music it really blends with the surrounding land scape . Very peaceful. thanks for the work on this excellent video. I can`t wait to get my hawk sky ...

  • Oh cool, such great shots!

  • Great Video, Awesome scenery.

  • That was amazing just love the onboard hd cam what did you use would like to look at getting one like that

    Cheers

    shags

  • Very impressive and excellent footage! That GH motor is very nice. Is that a GoPro HD?

  • Thank you for your kind words. This HD camera I found on a one-deal-a-day website. It's called HDV007. it cost $115.

  • Thanks. That's a very nice camera for the price.
