@origamipein18 Well, Tom and Jerry wasn't intended for kids, and this movie doesn't have as much violence as in the show. This film was also rated G, not PG. It was more of a musical than an action/adventure. Plus, Tom and Jerry TALKED the whole time, and it didn't have as much characters of the show (Spike, Tyke, the Orphan, Butch), though it did include Droopy.

Yeah, why do people hate this movie? I didn't care. I liked it.
