i just got my modern with SSH+ pickups and as i know they are similar to Aldrich pups (aldrich a little hotter) the thing is that i don't like the sound of the ssh+ to muddy ...i compared to my les paul with dimarzio super distortion and the super distortion is more alive and way better....im gonna put a Superdistortion on my modern. By the way nice tune of the Leppards...im gonna see them live next week in phoenix az.

Hey Mark how do you organize your practice routines in regards to technique, learning songs, etc..

@gbsons I try to play as often as I can. Lately I've been trying to learn songs that are on the edge or a little outside my ability and try to work them out as close to the original as possible. I don't use tab so it's all by ear. The Amazing Slow Downer and Transcribe are great tools for that. Repetition, repetition, repetition. Really listen and work on the subtle things, but still keeping my own feel :)

@patricefrey guitarbacktrackdotcom no S n track. There are a pile there that have been created from the Guitar Hero or Rockband stuff. So it's the original tracks without the guitars...awesome!!
