The album is so much better than his live performance, in the high tones using the falsette he got problems can not reaching the note, and to make it up that, had to use the beat box. At last this is the only differencial between him and the other singers. \=

i agree that the album is better than the live performance(but every artist is like that!blake is actually fairly decent compared to others!)after he lost his voice for a while,i think the voice he had during american idol never came back(AI tour+album recording all together damaged one of his vocal chords)but the reason why he beatboxed for high notes wasnt because he couldnt reach it.beatboxing w/ high notes is a lot harder than singing with it(unless its a falsetto,and yes.i am a beatboxer)

he strained himself by recording his album and going on the AI tour at the same time, and he barely had any sleep.

this led him to bleed from his vocal chords, and he couldnt talk, but arista being the terrible label that they, are, made him sing just to release it by december...

he then caught bronchitis right after so it just worsened the problem with his voice

his voice did recover quite a bit now that its 2yrs later, but his old jazz vibe is gone

I was very really suprised to see him back to watched him from tonight's the American Idol Season 7 tonight to performed from his the second single from his debuted album The Audio Day Dream hits stores everywhere but it's great to be him back from the studio. And this was so amazing and I just loved him so much and he was so adorable and beautiful guy.
