First time I saw footage from Nagano was inthe documentary Baraka, at the very beginning, where it showed monkeys bathing in it to keep warm. It actually is my favourite movie of all time and I've uploaded it to youtube in 1080p.
Im heading to Japan to teach English some time in the near future. I have been scouting possible locations and one name that keeps coming up is Nagano.... and now, after watching this video I believe I have found my destination. Thankyou.
Glad you got into the onsen with all your tats, a public one no less. I've heard different stories about tats and getting into onsen and have avoided getting designs because of it. But it's like you said -- you're never old twice. I guess I'll know the official line on onsen only after I get a tattoo.
This makes me want to go to Japan even more. Thanks for stopping to film the view. The other boarders may not have liked it so much but for us at home we got to enjoy the trip with you. Thanks for sharing.

you have to work your way up to the hot water by spending a few minutes in the warm water and your total time spent in the water should be under 20 minutes.
