  • Bernie will never reveal his real intentions but the way he presents himself lets him appear more secretive. Leaving questions unanswered while making provocative statements may not be regarded as a fruitful strategy but his own ascension from the son of a fisherman to the billionaire boss of the world's most prestigious sport prive that he is right in being different.

  • Ecclestone is very intresting. Seems right wing. I like that.

  • Ecclestone starting to lose it? Not from this interview, no. Very cagey and very clever, and doesn't fall for the interviewer's oily questions.

  • the interviewer is not a professional

  • this interviewer is a knob.

  • dude, he's trying to say neutral. he's not taking any side. he's a smart businessman with his one or two-worded responses. maybe he's trying to not to make something more sensational as it already was on this matter. he's smart; ugly (but his beautiful wife and daughters make up for that), too, but, first and foremost, a saavy businessman even in this interview.

  • i love bernie but i'd hate to interview him, what a tension

  • Bernie you are the best! Keep on doing the good work and stay confident.

  • Eccelstone is the real life Mr Burns..

  • @METALLICA3077 hahahahahahaha that's a good one pal! haha

  • I think Eccelstone is psychopathic...his affect is very flat. He does not laugh or smile often.

  • @mustardjunkie maybe not, I dunno

  • there i still hope for us short guys.

  • rear tyre larger/ Jarama ok/ V8 obligatory or v6 turbo (merci Renault). Viva Parmalat, Viva Brabham (and Electrolux bt 1977).

  • He's the real-life Mr. Burns

  • as they say there is no such thing as bad publicity. btw he only says like ten words

  • This guy is way out of his depth. Bernie has lost friends in this sport, for him to ask such questions is just inappropriate. This guy represents the worst of the worlds journalists. A total moron.

  • This journalist talked about only negative things with Bernie...This interviewer is sensationalist and is a media whore.

  • Wow, Ecclestone executed that brilliantly.

  • Bernie is infinitely smarter than the reporter. I love his economy of speech. The reporter not only looked scared but was made to look like a buffoon.

  • By a clear mile one of the great personalities the world has ever seen.

  • Whenever i hear Bernie Ecclestone's name i think of FIFA.

  • Loathsome 'facetious' dissembler. His sense of humour is about as amusing as necrotising fasciitis.Hmm.. 82 years on this planet.. Isn't it about time he left it? Outside his daughters no-one would miss him.I really believe he thinks he can take all his lucre with him over to the other side. He will leave a lasting legacy and a massive vote of thanks from a grateful adoring public when he finally shuffles off this mortal coil to match Robert Maxwell's fond send-off.

  • Let the spirit live on-visit "ayrtonsennaonline" youtube channel

  • Bernie Ecclestone is the killer of motorsport

  • @snipski0894 Bernie Ecclestone is the killer of Queens Park Rangers

  • Bernie cannot cheating, he have the most beautiful daughters in the world.

  • "where ever i'm sitting my sense of humour is always the same"

"more or less what you're trying to do................but they were more successful"

give him his dues, he's a hundred and ninety but you're not getting one over on him!

  • This guy interviewing him is the most annoying man i,ve ever come across. He reminds me of a comedy news sketch called The Day Today.

  • I don't think the car piquet was driving would have got over the wall, lmao, that idiot interviewing bernie was just finishing for drama in a completely idiotic way, well done to bernie for standing his ground with him.

  • He is right though, Hitler did get things done lol.

  • Bernie Is a smart talker

  • Like this if you hate this reporter

  • All of you saying he's an idiot senile racist so on so on. You should be so lucky to be not only a billionaire, but a billionaire in charge of one of the biggest spectator sports in the world and the pinnacle of motor sport. Whilst still having enough wits around you to out do every journalist working in the world today at 80 years old.

  • For a man who famously allows idiotic utterances to escape his lips, he speaks so guardedly - like a criminal suspect under interrogation and wishing to offer only the minimal response to any question. What's he's built deserves a great amount of respect, but solely on the evidence on this interview, Bernie seems a very shady customer.

  • god i hate it when the reporter says "sure" in a patronizing way

  • Bernie gets alot of flak from people but I respect him. He has balls, and that's something most people don't have these days.

  • Hi Bernie,

Today i heard you became a victim of a robbery...Im sorry. But prepare yourself its just a begining.Everybody gets his punishment who are irreverent with a Holy Crown! Here in Hungary gives a phrase:

    "God,did not beat with staff.."

    Ask forgiveness for your:

"Made in China"blurb ..before it will be too late..

  • fuck off bernie!!! People are tired of this kind of assholes. he is like a dictator...

  • Geez, senility really crept up on him fast huh?

  • Hitler did get things done. Even if they were evil. He would have made a brilliant leader if his intentions were good.

  • @cdeeb20 genocide isn't good intentions.

  • "More or less what you are trying to do...but they were more successful"

    ...Brilliant!!

  • Owned.

  • My Hate off to the Man, but an Essex Used Car Salesman non the less, what else do you need.

    ..

  • My Hate off to the Man, but an Essex Used Car Salesman non the less, what else do you need.

    ..

  • HAHAHA bernie whooped the interviewer's ass

  • To those of you saying bad things about bernie, you have to remember he made f1 what it is today.

He may be losing it a bit now but f1 wouldn't be the great sport that it is without bernie.

  • @david181993 "he made f1 what it is today".

You're not exactly helping his case.

  • F1 is much better today compared to what it was when he entered the sport.

  • And if f1 isn't good today then why do so many people watch it? It is one of the most popular sports in the world.

  • @david181993 So many people follow it because die-hard motorsport fans are the sort of people who watch regardless of internal politics.

Bernie has done good for the sport in the sense of securing good sponsorship and media coverage deals. However, he needs stop using F1 to line his own pockets; ticket prices are absolutely extortionate and he doesn't care if classic venues drop off the calander, just as long as his £££s are rolling in,

  • erm, well does it not occur to you that a formula one grand prix attracts the 3rd highest amount of international viewers of any sporting event in the world? behind only the olympics and the fifa world cup...

bernie didn't get it to that status by being stupid... the reason people pick on bernie is because he looks like a little troll, an easy target...

it's like when people curse god, when something goes wrong in F1, "oh for bernie's sake!"

  • What a complete waste of space he is

  • what an absolute nutter

  • That was weird.

  • This is pretty weird interview! Bernie starting to lose it?

  • it was wierd because he gave short, sharp answers... you have a look at a politician and they give a huge speach while never actually giving an answer... that's why the interviewer was so lost for words, he didn't expect answers...

  • @n1c4m1 Starting?

  • British race fans should be livid over his comments about not needing a British GP. They should picket his office and demand an apology. The way he treats fans like a piece of shit is insane. He used to love F1, now it is nothing more than a sack of money. What a miserable little dweeb.

  • This video exemplifies how much of a tosser bernie is. He runs F1, yet thinks the renault scandal was good for f1 because it got publicity. idiot. hes 78 and hes losing it.

  • He looks younger than in the tabloid papers....hm....interesting....

  • interviewer is gay what the hell is that bunny huntin? repect required

  • i admire bernie, but he scares the hell out of me. the stare he gives at 5:32 makes me want to run away into a corner and cry!

  • This HAS TO BE Alan Partridge in make up!.......Just close your eyes

    Briliant vid

  • This is an awful interview and the interviewer is terrible.

  • pretty gay both bernie and the dude

  • just watched it for a 2nd time and i think the interviewer is more weird than bernie.

youve been in a racing car... i havent....

mmm sure nobody was there... but there are records... probably...

we're sitting the heart of berlin, a place where awful things were ordered.... awful

  • oh for sure...but how much is bernie losing the plot these days??

  • you would'nt want to buy a second hand car off ecclestone, would you?

  • Not the most skillful interviewer perhaps, but he did well not to lose Ecclescake he could have walked at any moment. This has been a long time coming, well overdue. Direct questions demanding a direct answer rather than, '...we'll have to wait and see.' At last!

  • wow the tension going on....

  • @monsterwins To be expected really, i mean, interviewing the head of a sport that has just been exposed as having teams/individuals cheat in very dangerous ways? He's hardly gonna invite the interviewer over for team and biscuits is he?
