@DJATKU2 Thanks! We had a long dry spell this summer. The past week or so, we've been getting some good storms. I did shoot a little lightning video. Might post it. Not too exciting though. Thanks again for commenting!
@kimikama1 Sure made the hair stand up! If you pause the video at just the right times, you can see the return charge coming from the ground right in front of us! Thanks for commenting!
i was riding a bike with my dad today and there was and lightning strike just like 600 meters in front of us it scared the shit out of me so i fell of my bike
This was awsum to watch, what a lightning, what a loud thunder, i was almost jumped out of my chait when that thunder roared after that great strike, realy amazig. Verry nice filmed to, a 5 star rate and a ad to my fav list.
Hope for more of your T-storm video's, again, awsum to watch.
Thanks123oz, Our storm season is generally from May to August, and we get roughly 2 to 3 thunder storms a week if it's hot, and humid. We don't get many tornados in our area, maybe two a summer. Lots of funnel clouds! Can't wait! I love my storms! Thanks again for commenting!
That was a good old fashioned severe warned storm. 65 mph winds and a couple inches of rain in no time flat. Street flooding, trees down, and even a lightning struck barn! She was awesome!
Lucky buggers, we've hardly and I mean hardly, had any thunderstomrs here in the UK this year. This is seriously strange and concerning. Not even one severe storm! Superb video here though.
Thanks for the kind words Agui007, We actually didn't have as many severe storms as we do in a normal spring/summer, but the ones we had were impressive. We had six, or seven tornado warned storms this year, and did see a couple funnel clouds. Not a totally bad year! Better luck next spring! Thanks again for commenting!
Yea Pump, That was pretty crazy, but I love those storms! The wilder the better! Next spring, the fun starts again! Hope to get lots of crazy footage then! Thanks for commenting!
where was this filmed, because the was a wicked strom were i lived in ontario, tornado warning and several touch downs. One even in toronto near the wonderland. it was awsome
Hi juiposa, This was recorded in NW Pennsylvania. This storm was severe warned, but not tornado warned. Sounds like you get some pretty violent storms. We have next spring to look forward to. Thanks for commenting!
Whaataaahhh coolsome loud Tstorm you videotaped here from western PA...I've noticed that when some of the closeby CGs struck...your own camcorder's microphone picked up the ''lightning popping static'' and even that is so awesome... My own 7/28/89-huge Tstorm's also got such ''static'' from the CG-strikes and I got lotsa closeby CGs in that monster Tstorm from over 20 years ago... ***wanna view it?*** Anyways... nice video...I love it!!!.
Thanks Luvs, I did watch your videos! They're AWESOME! We haven't had as many storms as we used to get in past years. We seem to be in a storm dead zone. Hopfully it'll change in the future.
cool, we had a storm pass threw on the 2,(2009), it was HUGE!!to bad i dident record it, otherwise i would put it on here...anyways a few strikes hit the dirt feild behind my house...had ALO T of rain, i agree with the beauty of storms..
Thanks for commenting f15. Mother nature is an awesome lady! Next time you have storms forcasted for your area, have the camera ready! I'd love to see it! Thanks again!
3:14 HOLD GOOD SHITBALLS!! I'm from northern Ireland and I have only experienced one storm like this, but holy crap the crack of thunder after that close strike was like something of biblical proportions!! Wondefrul!!
Hi CHiZZy, I believe when thunder has that type of sound, it's due to the sound traveling downwards through the lightning channel, at 5 times hotter than the surface of the sun. Thanks for commenting!
Oh it looks exactly like this little town my family stoped at on our way down to the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad. Scary how close it resembles it.
They should be respected towelie. They are Mother natures fury! I love storms because I like to see what Mother nature has up her sleeve. I tend to see the pure beauty in a storm. The raw power if you will.
YOU are surely welcome! I just got back from playing outside again and I was putting my feet in the leftover water flowing in the sides of the streets. x3
Awesome video... I wish it would rain like that in Nevada. Piece of sh*t town... it never rains enough!
