Go Back Home has always my top favorite tune. With Clapton's screaming leads and Stills's wah wah cries it is just perfect weaving. It is a pity they did not make another song together since.
i saw stills perform at the Athens (Ohio) Folk Festival back in 71 or 72 and I asked him to autograph this album and he told me to get the F out of his way...
I've lived in Colorado for ions and was around Nederland when Stills was hanging out here. He was an asshole drunk. No surprise he treated you that way. One of the best, but was a huge asshole. Drinking will do that. Saw him do a solo show where he was getting drunk and it sucked. Hopefully he has dried up and got a personality.
@MrThomasdrewsen i have the tarck from the album and as well I had the album back in the early 70s so i know that Clapton ends the album track with a killer solo maybe the last 2-2.5 minutes...Hendrix also played on a track of this album...
@BuckeyeInNC okay, then we're on the same track. I was one or two years old back then, but know the studio version - including slow hand clapton. And, yeah, it's a killer - the whole track as I recall
