Watching the game's, I realize the reason they lost 4 games was lack of 3rd down defense (houston), Incredible defense (Baltimore), Early season jitters and adjustment (NYJ and Arizona). Other than that the dolphins are on a role. I have been a jets fan for a while but I've always respected Pennington's accuracy and important decision making. Only time will tell if they Chad for Brett exchange was for the better.

However happy I am that Favre has joined,I dont think it is the right move for us,I hope to god it works and we have a great season but I dont think Chad or Kellen Clemens could have got the job done, it was our QB crisis that screwed us up last season,personally I think Chris Simms would have been good but thats just my opinion I also think Favre is a marketing tool just like David Beckham at the LA Galaxy. I do agree with you and I was a big fan of his and respect and am very grateful for what he did for us and he could have taken us to SB if not for Doug Brien. However he was to inconsistent and when he had a dip in form he did it with style, twice this has happened, remember when Herm Edwards had to bring Vinny back and last year when he just couldnt perform. The years Chad took us to the playoffs were great, however it wasnt just him that took us there, A good coach, Chrebet and Martin.

He is lucky that Miami runs a ton of trick plays, and have Brown and Williams back there to draw attention to the ground game more than the passing game. Well now there 4 and 4 and he's doing a pretty good job. Watching the game's, I realize the reason they lost 4 games was lack of 3rd down defense (houston), Incredible defense (Baltimore), Early season jitters and adjustment (NYJ and Arizona). Other than that the dolphins are on a role. I have been a jets fan for a while but I've always respected Pennington's accuracy and important decision making. Only time will tell if they Chad for Brett exchange was for the better.

Wow, I'm so surprised how quick JETS fans dump a man who did a lot for them. You guys have "what have you done for me lately" syndrome. The man helped you guys out. Traitor!!! Yeah we let him go, but have some fucking loyalty man!!! However a shit player belongs on a shit team and because of Pennington;s inconsistency and injuries over the years he fucked us up! He could not link up with Coles, it just didnt work, Chrebet and Martin were the keys to our sucess, yeah he had a few good seasons but thats it. He is well suited to a crock like the Dolphins. However maybe he can lead the Dolphins to 2 wins this season instead of 1. GO JETS!!!!

Granted, Chad did not take the Jets to the Superbowl but he took the Jets to the playoffs 3 times and had the best passer rating ever. Did any other Jets QB do that? Do you remember Browning Nagle with his rifle arm? A strong arm is important for any QB but it's not everything. Chad will come back to haunt the Jets, mark my words!

However happy I am that Favre has joined,I dont think it is the right move for us,I hope to god it works and we have a great season but I dont think Chad or Kellen Clemens could have got the job done, it was our QB crisis that screwed us up last season,personally I think Chris Simms would have been good but thats just my opinion I also think Favre is a marketing tool just like David Beckham at the LA Galaxy. Since when have the Jets had so much media coverage,we have never been in the spotlight.

I do agree with you and I was a big fan of his and respect and am very grateful for what he did for us and he could have taken us to SB if not for Doug Brien. However he was to inconsistent and when he had a dip in form he did it with style, twice this has happened, remember when Herm Edwards had to bring Vinny back and last year when he just couldnt perform. The years Chad took us to the playoffs were great, however it wasnt just him that took us there, A good coach, Chrebet and Martin.

Alan can guard five people if he wants, he cant do it by himself. Pennington wasnt that good for a reason. (Its unfortunate we will never know how good he could of been.) Farvee is now the starter. Tonight will be a taste how how he plays.
