I appreciate your concern for BatI's skin condition. However, it is congential -- one of many hereditary diseases often passed down among pedigreed champion dogs. You probably didn't realize the chances are 1 in 5 that the offspring of thoroughbred animals will have a genetic disease.
She was nice enough not to add my own opinion: Human ignorance is based on lack of reflective thought and lack of research. While your intent was to show your appreciation, it came across as a wise-crack. Sometimes dogs DO have more intelligence than humans - at least their bark is worse than their bite. Can you can the same for humans who don't bother to study when a whole universal library is open to them (the Net)?
