Is the canned food in spain actually that good or is over rated? I've rarely experience anything good from a can. And how can you beat chef boy ardee? LOL! Maybe with a baseball bat? I think you'd have too.
no it is really good. I'm Spain and I can tell you that canned food in spain is really good. healthy and without aditives or shits like that. It's not like in the usa or something.
The place is Asador Etxebarri, in Durango, Pais Vasco, Spain. The chef is Victor Arguinzoniz. In this restaurant all is cook in the grill, whit flavours of smoke. It´s the 39th best restaurant in the world by San Pellegrino.
One of the few episodes which disappointed me. I didn't get much of a feel for the culture or food of Spain, which is I think the point of the show. Tony instead showcased what I consider to be froo-froo foodie stuff that he in other shows has seemed to mock. Love the show, but this one just didn't work for me.
yes you are right I thought that too. I'm spanish and I can tell you that he didn't show anything from the real Spain. I hope he makes a better program about the spanish food the next time.
@ilargitxo2 hey, I'm going to visit barcelona with my class in 2 weeks, so i need some tips for typical spanish fast/finger food to survive in those 5 days:D I'm german and used to sausages and schnitzel, would you have some ideas for me?
@ilargitxo2 first of all I'm a fast food jerk, second i'd like to try some local food, third I will visit sights the whole day so there will be not that much time to eat and fourth I heard that spain, especially barcelona, isn't that cheap to go out eating ;) in germany you can get for 5 euros a great meal to eat one's fill.
@v055 well in spain all bars and restaurants have the menu of the day which consists in a 3 courses meal plus drinks plus bread some times and plus coffe.
You can choose between 3 or 4 first courses, 3 or 4 second courses and then the desert. this cost betwen 8 euros to 12 some times 15 in the most expensive restaurants. it is very tradiitonal in spainn
fuck all spainards

I enjoyed this episode. My mouth watered so much! More so than any other of Bourdain's shows that I have seen.
Does anyone know by the way the name of the song used for this preview? I like it a lot!
