Homage to the triple gem; homage to the ocean of noble wisdom. Variocana [a celetial Buddha]; to the king of the host -- Tathagataya -- the one thus gone; to the Arhat; to the Perfectly Awakened One. Homage to all the Tathagatayas. The Great Being of Wisdom -- The Great Compassionate One.

To the arhats; to the fully and perfectly awakened ones. Homage to noble Avaloketesvara; to the bodhisattva; to the great being of Wisdom; to the greatly compassionate one. Thus: Bearing firm; bearing a burden. Imploringly -- Moving, trembling, shaking; moving, trembling, shaking. In a flower –around the circumference. Without dallying -- Ablaze with understanding; leading the way. Hail!

  • @karoltatis This is known as "The Great Compassion Mantra" in English. It is an invocation in praised of the Triple Gem (Namo Ratna Trayāya -- the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Enlightened Sangha) and of the bodhisattva Avalokitesvrara (Guanyin in East Asia). A good place to start is Wikipedia. Type or copy "Nilakantha dharani" in the search field a nice overview of this text. A dharani is an extended mantra.
